Owners of iphones will forever doubt the sincerity of Apples intentions regarding updates because of the incident where Apple failed to inform iphone owners what they was doing to the phone with regards to one of it's updates.

Yes! iPhone owners absolutely everywhere think that. It's an exodus from Apple because they didn't put that in their ToS .
I suggest you buy a good set of AirPods Pro and use them with ANC on in 13 days. You'll avoid hearing Apple report its revenue and iPhone sales. I suspect (only suspect) your 'ToS Big Lie Exodus Theory' is a bit under 50/50 likelihood.

Not true across the board. The paragraph should read, imo, "some owners....etc"
because of the incident where Apple failed to inform iphone owners what they was doing to the phone with regards to one of it's updates. It is only when many iphone owners started to complain of issues with their phone did Apple come clean and admit what they did to the update. Iphone owners and critics of Apple both said that Apple should have been honest and upfront about what they were doing instead of only coming forward when they were caught out.
Yep totally. Apple should have communicated better.
What Apple has failed to realised is what they did breaches consumer law in many many countries and saying 'sorry' is just not good enough.
Which countries?
When your a company with deep financial pockets such as Apple then a countries consumer organisation will go after you,
Yep, same with lawsuits. Go after those with deep pockets.
and as we are seeing in the news, more and more countries are using their consumer laws to take on Apple.
Not without total success however.

I have a 7+ on 14.6, and I don't see the camera/Photos app being slower than before. I wonder how a newer iPhone 8 would have that issue.
Try not restarting your device (at all) for at least one month while keep on using it — take pictures, play games, download podcasts, edit documents, etc. See how how it goes.

The throttle gate was real and plenty of reports.
Sigh. No. That iOS throttled the CPU to avoid crashing and restarting continuously once the device was crashing and restarting was true. The rest, including virtually all reports on it, was sensationalist ********.
