@JJM006: sorry, I have just seen your question. Do you still need a screenshot?

Otherwise, I have just submitted the update of ContactsXL.

Here is what it is new in this version:

-The contact card shows the groups the contact belongs to.
-The user can add/remove a contact to/from groups from within the "contact card" page
-Added option to show/hide age of contacts
-Added option to show/hide badge count on icon (for Push notifications)

Hi all,

I have submitted a new update to Apple. With this new version, you will be able to sync you address book with Facebook!

The new update is available in and it will allow you to sync your contacts with your Facebook friends!

Hey Jonmars, downloaded the new version and using new iPad 2 with 4.3.3. New user here and can not add people to a new group. When I open the contact and choose group. It's empty.

Any help?

hello,

First of all, some accounts do not support the creation of groups.

Besides, contacts who belong to an account (exchange for example) cannot be added to a group which belong to another account (the built-in address book for example)

That's why when you open a contact and choose group, it is empty. The account which contains the contact, must not contain any group.

@weenie: You're welcome!

For your information, because the app is 1 year old today, I make it FREE TODAY ONLY!!!

link to the AppStore

If you like it and use it to sync your contacts with you Facebook friends, it would be very kind of you to "like" the Facebook page, thanks in advance!

You're welcome!

Unfortunately, an app can be good, but if no websites talk about it, too few people download it :(

Hi all, contactsxl + sync with Facebook has been free for a few hours!!!

Thank you! Is there any way to include drag and drop from all contact into a group? This would greatly speed up the initial setup of the app.

Jon,

I have been looking for a really good contact management app that I can use to keep ONLY my work related contacts. Is this a stand alone database or does it share with Apples own Contacts app?

I need an app that is separate from the Apple one.

Hi

sorry for the late answer but I have not received the notification..

anyway, no the app is not a stand alone database, it uses data from the iPad address book.

By the way, the iPhone version ContactsXL 4 is FREE TODAY ONLY

Transferring Contacts from iPhone to Alternate iPhone

I am seeking technical support.

I have created several contacts in 'Lists' under the ContactsXL App on my iPhone. I am interested in sharing my 'Lists' contacts with my co-workers and would like to avoid them manually entering the contacts into the iPhone. Is there a file that is embedded in this App which I can capture/save & share with my co-workers to avoid the hassle of manual entry? It would be ideal if they could download the App and import the 'Lists' file in some fashion.
My goal is to share the 'Lists' with them & be able to simply send them an e-mail for import, should there be any changes in the future. I appreciate anyone entertaining this request & would be excellent if there is a solution!
Thank You!
