I love this tumblr theme, and I would really like to use it on my website, but the problem is, is that I use Wordpress.

So, my question is: Is there anyway I can convert this Tumblr Theme to a Wordpress theme?

    Can it be done?

    I know Wordpress themes have a style.css, header.php, footer.php, and index.php as well as comments/sidebar/page.php

but I'm not sure where to put which part of the code where, and I don't know the wordpress codes to call out the blog date/title/info/etc. to replace the tumblr codes
    ie:
Part two of my question: If it is possible, Can anyone here help me out?

Here is the code for the Tumblr theme (via http://secretlab.tumblr.com ):

Sounds like a big project involving alot of details, effort and time since doing so clearly involves customization of many files and even code. I checked around, could not find any 'converters' so looks like it'll be done by hand, and each theme is a case by case basis due to the possibility of embedded code (i.e. Ajax) and custom styles.

But first things first... here is help on and a listing of WP template tags so you know how WP displays data:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags

Here is advanced developer documentation on creating themes in WP in general to address any questions you have about how WP themes work:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Developer_Documentation

Beyond this, once you're familiar with how WP works you should be able to identify which segment of code does what so you can do the conversion. If anyone is willling to help do the conversion, they'll reply. Sorry, I can't, personally. But I hope these links help you if you end up doing it on your own.
