Cool App for Carrier Change

I haven't gone outside of AT&T's coverage area since I got the 3G, but doesn't the carrier logo change when you roam? And if so, I wonder if the carrier string would reflect roaming if it was changed via Caption Crunch. If it doesn't change and you go into a roaming area, you could be in for a rude awakening upon receiving your bill, no?
 
Is there anything out there to do this with a windows pc or does anyone know of some good websites for this sorta stuff but windows version

this is a pretty good app! i kind of got tired of it after a few days though.
 
operator name font size

hi
Apple left a rather small space for operator name, so if it’s above 7(?) characters, it will scroll, and display only first part

any one know how to change the operator name font size

iphone 16gb 3g v2.1

I just went to Mexico and it changed.

Hey Jake... Good to see you're also here on MacRumors. (obviously this is Dave from SU). I agree too, your apple logo looks a little better than the others. Can't tell if it's just cause your pic is bigger/clearer than every elses though.
 
Hi Im new here...stumbled upon this thread and wish to contribute also :)

I actually created/drew an ambigram of my name Mark and am using it as my telco logo :) What I did was just creating a PNG file out of them and copy the files over into my iPhone using iFunBox....

If you're roaming on another GSM carrier in the US, it won't change. If you roam on another carrier outside the US, it will change. So the general rule of thumb....if it doesn't say AT&T, bend over and lube up for the roaming charges.
 
In case anyone's wondering, this utility has been out for a long time now... not sure why people are JUST finding it now. However, until this thread, I didn't really think to check if it worked with 2.1... strange that it still does.
 
Yeah, I posted it because I thought I found something new and cool and here lots of people knew about it.. lol.. my bad.

My current one is the logo of my team, compLexity.

I have two iPhones, my 3G and my wife's v1. It worked great with my 3G, but would not work at all for my wife's phone. I tried re-setting, turning off and on, leaving off and letting the program turn it on and nothing.... oh well...
