Excellent, that sounds like a plan to me :)

Definitely!

Same bat-time, same bat-channel.

Good to see you're back on the wagon, BV, and I'd like to repeat the "thanks!" for helping to make the picnic happen!

The iPod HiFi was great... nice one! I think I remember chatting to you for a while, which was nice... and you were very forceful about the fact that I really ought to drink more rum :) I did my best, although I'm usually a whisky man, not a rum dude. Cheers anyway! :D

Fruitstock looks like a plan. Innocent smoothies are pure ambrosia. I'd heard about it last week via the Early Learning Centre, funnily enough... The company I work for do ELC's and Daisy & Tom's stocktakes - I got chatting to a girl from ELC who mentioned Fruitstock was happening. So count me in!

Agreed - fab to see you back on here, BV. Thanks for organising it all. Bring on Part Deux, I say. :)

Oh, and dynamicv, that is amazing! I actually am deeply suspicious of dogs, (and have the scar to prove it) but Bart was a total cutie. (As was Hector, btw – you guys have restored my faith in the canine world somewhat :) ).

*oh* *god* :D

It'd curdle, surely?

Nah... I'm sure a drop of vodka/rum/whatever and a quick shake would be fine! (personally I'd prefer no tequila)

Just thought I'd have a quick look on cocktail.com for recipe ideas but got distracted by one called a Dirty Banana :D

*snicker*

I've had something close to a Dirty Banana. It was pretty much the same, but Kalhua instead of Tia Maria. Crazy-sweet, and deadly.

Just been reading more about Fruitstock... looks fun. I like the "activity centre" feel to it (part of why I like Glastonbury so much). I'll be right there at the relaxation area ... I'm literally a new man after a good massage (as long as it's not of the 'burly' variety).

(edit: I'll probably go all shy at the 'flirting area' though. Still, worth a try!)

Nice to see you back in business BV. You certainly did your part to make it a successful event. How is the BoomBox doing?

dynamicv: Bart's behaviour is so sweet. Well, if I found myself in Regent's park again I'd be tempted to do the same... sit down at the tree and see if any of you would show up. :p

Well the big banana needs another outing, it's just lying in the hallway doing nothing... so 'Fruitstock' seems the obvious place :)

I also seem to remember being 'encouraged' to have a go at the Bacardi. :D

I said it on the day, but it's worth repeating - thanks to BV for organising this, and thanks to everyone for turning up and making it a great day. :)

Just trying to be genial. :)

Did we ever pull together a definitive list of attendees? There are some I wish I'd had a chance to talk to and hopefully, there will be other chances in the near future.

It was XII, not Raven XIII, confusingly. :D Nice chap, by the way. :)

Edit: Fast chap, too. :p

Oh, and geese came too.

Oops! Sorry! I don't know why the Raven bit sticks...:(

Get your Roman numerals right, woman!

geese added. Was that after I'd gone? Either I never met him, or not by his pseudonym.

I'd probably get stoned for that. And not in a good way.

geese wasn't there for that long, and I think he was on the other side to where you and Ms Skunk were sitting. Also a nice chap. :)

So many nice chaps! And chapesses. A thoroughly nice crowd, in fact!
:)

geese was a lovely chap indeed. It was him that called my sandals Pimp shoes :D

Where are you, geese and why aren't you posting more? (hope we didn't scare you!)

Thanks. Helps explain some gaps in my hazy recollection. Over 20 people and other assorted furry characters... good one. A list to hang onto, I think.

i just came back from paintballing and it was awesome, we should do a MR paintballing, or maybe MR Vs spymac or something.

it really does not hurt and for those which need to protect things that "no one has ever complained about" ;) you can get frontal armor, anyway, truely awesome, i won two of the 5 rounds by capturing the flag.

Paintballing is awesome fun but it can be quite expensive. Where were you? Campaign in Surrey? I've been there a couple of times as well as a few times at other places and it's always great.

I can hurt a lot if you get hit at really close range or on unprotected skin (I've been hit on the neck before and it killed).

Yeah... took a few hits to my knuckles last time I played. Totally screwed up my touch-typing. Plus, if you get into the game, you'll probably manage to hurt yourself in some way: leaping over tyre walls and dropping to the ground, for example! My big injury was when I rolled for cover an ended up on my back with a big ol' rock wedged in the small of my back. I adopted a Homer Simpson voice and yelled "My Spine!!!". Made the marshals a bit nervous until they noticed I was laughing hysterically.

The adrenaline got me through the day. But was in constant pain across my entire body for about a week afterwards :)
