cabin fever is real and takes hold fast for those not used to staying at home, hell there is a difference in staying at home because you want too and being told to stay at home.....

LOL. [<— I never post abbrv, that’s just how funny those pictures are.] The second picture of the old lady with the noose, I didn’t quite figure it out, until I studied the picture for a few more seconds, then I burst out laughing.

Side note:

Amid the whole C/19 concern, as much as I enjoy discussion online, it’s good to break away from it too, As we still have to regulate by keeping a normal life versus reading to deep into every word on an internet thread. Sometimes we need humor, Laughter is the elixir of life (I Kinda have a twisted sense of humor as well). Well played on your behalf.

And besides, the Wall Street Journal said so in an editorial.

One of these days, as an underground saying goes, Wall Steet's going to discover they can't separate capital from labor forever. But hey, that might be almost too political for a community thread. Unless community members happen to be mostly worker bees...

Thank you to the mods - and the users - for this thread. Indeed, humor is one of humanity’s most powerful weapons against any dramatic event.
This is what the great Viktor Frankl - a nazi concentration camp and the author of the life changing Man’s Search for Meaning - wrote:

Humor was another of the soul’s weapons in the fight for self-preservation. It is well known that humor, more than anything else in the human make-up, can afford an aloofness and an ability to rise above any situation, even if only for a few seconds.

The attempt to develop a sense of humor and to see things in a humorous light is some kind of a trick learned while mastering the art of living. Yet it is possible to practice the art of living even in a concentration camp, although suffering is omnipresent.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could just order a mild "case of Corona(virus)" along with a 12-roll pack of TP?

Given how Amazon and Walmart are trying to ramp up to serve customers who usually rely on online orders as well as those who have found empty shelves in supermarkets... in three weeks or so everyone who wasn't already exposed in the USA would have it and be recovering.

Meanwhile, back at Fort Corona...

It occurs to me that U.S. beaches don't have to be deserted. We just need to limit them to one person at a time. Those of us on the coasts could take turns, alphabetically, one person per day per coastline, until everybody has had a turn.
and by the time you get done, the vaccine will be out

Here's the trick. In the US you can legally change your name at will. So, today your name is Aaaaaaaaaa. The next day you change it to
Aaaaaaaaab… then to
Aaaaaaaaac… and so on. Basically, all US beaches are yours!

And parents can name their babies appropriately so that years later they'll have a good position in line.
