My phone is also on that flight. I wonder where it's headed to. Any idea?

I just noticed that it says in activity that flight 59 is going to Ontario. Its scheduled to leave Alaska at 5:05pm and arrive in Ontario at 10:28pm. That's like 40 Miles from me!! My Phone is going to be 40 Miles from me on Monday night and its not going to be delivered until Friday. That SUCKS!!!!!:mad::rolleyes:

Mine is also a UPS Flight 69 phone. If MacRumors represents what should be a relatively "random" sample of launch day iPhone pre-orders, then that is a plane full of nothing but iPhones. I wonder how many iPhones you can put on a plane?

I'm excited . My phone is on this flight as well . Gotta love how all of us are together on this . If my friends only knew I'm tracking my phone every single step of the way , they most likely would make fun of me how obsess I am lol.

My wife just said "I wish you got as excited about me as you do your new phone"

wow really who cares you will get it when you get it i ordered mine but im no anal about which plane mine is on or anything doesnt matter if it will be in cali tonight your still not getting it until friday

Keep us updated where it goes next!

In case you missed it I updated the thread. It should be in Ontario at 10:28pm tonight. WOOT WOOT!!!! Thats only 40 miles for me!!

If you don't care why are you in this thread. Do you find it fun to be a kill joy or something. If you don't care you don't have to read this thread. No one is twisting your arm.

It looks like the adjusted flight 69's info and if its now correct it left hong kong at around 7:00pm so it could not be our plane. It looks like if you have a departure scan from Hong Kong at 9:34 your iPhone is on flight 59. I updated the link below.

Lands in Anchorage Alaska at 3:33pm Local time(which might change). Here they come!!:D

**UPDATE** Plane is scheduled to leave Alaska at 5:05pm and land in Ontario, CA at 10:28pm. (that's like 40 miles from me!!!)

what time did you order your phone ? Did u get it from the apple store?

I want my iPhone's box to rub sara palins box......

ps......flight 59 is due to LAND EARLY!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Turn on the afterburners MAVERICK!

This is all craziness...

And there must be a lot of phones on there. Cause my phone shipped at that time, and I finished my transaction at like 12:15 PDT. Since they shipped phones in the order they were received, there has to be tens of thousands of phones on that plane...

Don't get too excited, if it's a busy airport, that plane will have to circle around until it's scheduled landing time. So let's hope it isn't crazy busy in Anchorage, Alaska.

Thanks :)!

Try Chicago to Narita Japan then a quick turnaround to Guam. Ya that took forever.

Going from Hong Kong to Alaska isn't that bad of a flight. I did it when I was coming back from Vietnam. But seeing the PANC as the destination was kind of a good small laugh to have.

Less than 40 minutes until our phones arrive in the good old USA!!! :p

You can listen to your phone arriving in Anchorage on http://www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=panc :p

While I believe that actually listening to the ATC transmissions for a phone might be a BIT over the top, the fact that the capability exists is friggin' awesome. Damn, I love technology.

And yes, totally sitting here listening.

So I haven't gotten an arrival scan for Anchorage, but the plane is landed and set to depart to Louisville in an hour or so. Would I be correct in assuming that they won't be offloading the cargo at PARC and will be sending the plane on "as is" to KSDF? Maybe taking off a pallet that's already been tagged for the west coast or something?
