You guys are going to drive yourselves crazy  if you obsess about every little detail. :)

It's going to make the time pass so much slower than if you just get on with things and try to put it out of your mind. Remember what waiting for Christmas or Birthdays was like when you were a kid? ;)

That said, I did check my tracking info again this morning: Leaving Incheon, Republic of Korea 11:12 PM 09/17/2012. I don't care what plane it's on, as long as it lands safely.

When it appears in Alaska, that's customs.

Once when I ordered a BTO MBP (2010) it got stuck, along with others on the same pallet, for ten days.

Customs is very picky, just one glitch with the paperwork they require and the shipment is put on hold until it gets cleared up.

Hopefully nothing will hold up iPhones from being cleared.

Hopefully that customs agent isn't a jealous S3 owner! :D My phone is on that flight.

Amazing what a 1 week wait will do. People are now looking up not only their tracking and serial numbers using "back door" methods, but are even tracking the flight. What's next, a GPS feed for the delivery trucks?

I honestly believe that this is the only community in the world that would track down the very flight that their product is on. And not only that, but provide the exact time of the landing and the location as well.

Not saying this is good or bad, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone track down their Samsung Galaxy flights before.

It looks like the adjusted flight 69's info and if its now correct it left hong kong at around 7:00pm so it could not be our plane. It looks like if you have a departure scan from Hong Kong at 9:34 your iPhone is on flight 59. I updated the link below.

Lands in Anchorage Alaska at 3:33pm Local time(which might change). Here they come!!:D

A GPS in the trucks would be cool. Could play games with the some people in your neighborhood on who would get it first.

Apple ships UPS World Ease to prevent that sort of problem, though every now and then life happens and then your pallet has to wait.

But in general, World Ease exists to prevent these hold-ups because Apple pays the duties in advance and for the whole pallet rather than per-product.

Yay! Mine is on that flight. I wonder how many iPhone 5's are on that plane... Thousands?? XD

Haha that's hilarious :D following the plane carrying your new iPhone :D

But I understand you... I'm eagerly waiting for iPhone to be released here in Denmark on September 28. Hope (I'm almost 100% sure!) to get it on launch day.

Isn't Louisville where the superginormous UPS processing center is located?

My coworker has been blabbing about this for the past 30 minutes...so yeah.

He also says Louisville has a lobster farm and they ship live lobster from there? I think he's smokin' somethin.

He also keeps correcting my pronunciation of Louisville. :p

I'm excited . My phone is on this flight as well . Gotta love how all of us are together on this . If my friends only knew I'm tracking my phone every single step of the way , they most likely would make fun of me how obsess I am lol.

Mines on that flight :)

Our phones are traveling together. :)

I departed at 9:34 as well. Mine is probably on that flight too.

Off to Google...

Yep, Worldport. Someone posted a video about that place on one of these threads. Crazy, huge place... processes a million packages a day or something like that.

We going to Memphis after Alaska?

I find this thread really exciting! You guys are my iPhone shipping buddies!
