Yes.. I've never missed a launch day ever.. This is the first.. I was in at 8:02EDT and my pre-order was in there waiting for me from yesterday.. It said it was ONLY available for delivery 9/25.. I tried In-Store pickup and it said it WAS available on 9/19 for InStore at ALL Apple Stores in my area.. I chose that but then I got a message Blue iPhone17ProMax 256 NOT AVAILABLE for in store pickup. So this is like the the Jet Black year.. At least then it was ONLY the Jet Black that was back ordered 2 weeks. Apple simply didn't order enough.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Cosmic Orange Slipped to 9/25 in 1 Minute??

Got into the store at around 8:05 EST. Wife’s blue 15P still had launch day delivery, while my orange 15P was at 9/25. Both phones are 512GB. Strangely, my configuration is readily available for store pickup in NYC on launch day. I’m considering canceling and reordering for store pickup.
Pro, Orange, 256 still shows 9/19 in the US for me. Haven’t checked any other options.
Yeah.. Here too. In Store stows available.. But when you click on it.. NO ProMaxes are available before Oct now. Did ANYONE get a 9/19 for ANY ProMax?
glade i went with blue. was really thinking about the orange but its going to get a dark case put on it any way. I called the orange will be sold out very quickly
Yes.. I 'm sure many PRO (not Max) people will get 9/19.. It's always the 2nd most favored. Wonder how the AIR is selling.
Another thing in favor of 9/25 being a glitch is that any time in the past a delivery has been pushed past launch date, Apple has given a range, never a specific date. Doesn’t mean they couldn’t have just changed how they estimate delivery, but it seems unlike since other people are now seeing date ranges.
Black and white 256gb air no longer available for local pickup where I am. But who knows how inventory levels compare to the pro, huh?
When I look on Apples site it shows 10/6 for Orange PM about 15 minutes ago, Very strange then
Same model still shows 9/19 for me. Same color and capacity, but Max shows October now.

I should have done pickup, I can still do pickup. But I hate going to store on launch day. Oh well.
I used Apple Balance and Gift Card to place order. They won't allow me to do pick up in store, had to do delivery, est 9/19 for 1 Pro and 1 Base
Interesting. I just went through the pre-ordering process and it shows 9/19. In fact just about any configuration I've tried shows 9/19 for pickup of delivery. Since I was only testing and didn't order perhaps the delay shows up in the confirmation?
1 orange pro and 1 lavender for me, they just won't allow me to pick up in store, despite it's showing "Availability", I read online that this could be due to using Apple Balance/ GC as payment
