Costco 2021 M1 MacBook Pro Orders/In store pick up

I have an order scheduled for shipment the week of Nov 1. Curious as to success some have in store for purchase. They won't give you information if you call and nothing available online.
Stores in my area were getting 1-2 of the base model 14”. I lucked out and happened on one right after the truck came today; they’re doing a display change out and I don’t think we’re planning to have them out for sale until tomorrow.
I was tied to Costco because I had a shop card from a gift return. I would have gone up to the base 16” if that was what they had but was really looking for the base 14” and that’s what they had!

The perks of buying it at Costco and with their credit card are tough to beat!
The extra warranty and 90 return is hard to beat… and $50 off ain’t so bad either
Ordered Wed 10/20 first day on their website. It said expected to ship on Mon 11/1, but I just got a UPS shipping notification this evening Tues 10/26.

Thanks for the update! I didn't get a shipping notification, but now it shows that I cannot cancel the order. That apparently means it's moving. Mine is being shipped to store, so I don't know how that impacts anything.
So your shipping notification came from UPS directly? What does your Costco status look like?
Has anyone confirmed whether Costco has them in store yet?
No movement on my online order. I might just call and see what they'll tell me.

got one in store yesterday; the base model 14”. Not sure when they’ll filter through to our neighbors to the north though.
Just got an email from Costco saying that, due to high volume, there might be a “slight” delay in processing my order. Doesn’t sound encouraging. Order was placed 10/22.
Hmm. You placed it pretty early. Maybe it'll be okay. The problem is they aren't given any indication as when anything will happen. I just spoke to them. Just just indicate that you'll get an email with tracking info when it ships.
Lucky! I ordered the same day and have nothing. Let me know what the delivery estimate is. You got the notification via email?
There was a costco email notification yesterday. The tracking number didn't show activity until this afternoon. Now UPS says delivery due Sat 10/30 by 7p via UPS 3-day select.

Interesting. I just went and searched Costco’s site thinking I could reorder my 10/32 Max configuration with a firm delivery date. But now I am only seeing the two lower priced Pro configurations in the 16” when I search. The Max configuration doesn’t even show up. I’m wondering if Costco got more orders for that model than they are able to fill and that’s why I got that “slight delay” email yesterday. Makes me think I could be in for a bit of a wait if they are waiting on more stock to come in from Apple…
I'm in the same boat. I placed my order for the same configuration on the same day, and also noticed yesterday that the 16" max 10/32 is no longer listed on Costco's site. Status is just "Order Received."
Yes, that model was removed a few days ago. And yes, my wife is a Costco expert and she says if it was removed it was because they can't fill more orders for it.
I ordered the same and haven't heard anything. I'm hoping we hear something by Friday, at least.
I chatted online with them yesterday and they didn't indicate there was a problem. Just couldn't tell me when it would ship or be delivered.
I sure hope so. Costco did not charge my credit card according to my statement. But, I did see that my credit card approved the purchase right after I placed it.
Yep that’s where I am right now too. Saw the authorization at time of purchase but my card hasn’t been charged yet.
And that is why forums and discussion threads like these are so useful: we know that others are in the same situation. It's not just one of us alone.
Called Costco. They are going to contact Apple to be able to give details about delivery expectations. At least, that's what they said. Supposed to email or call back within a couple of days, I think.
Just looking on Apple's website store, it seems that my local apple store (Reno, Nevada) has 14" and 16" versions in the Pro flavors in stock, but nothing with the Max chip. I wonder if the Max chip is too popular, or not enough were created to meet demand. Low supply, either way. Obviously not definitive, but given the same with Costco, these pieces of data seem to indicate that Pro chips are available, but not the Max chips.
