Costco 2021 M1 MacBook Pro Orders/In store pick up

I have the same updated info on my UPS tracking. Showing delivery for Wednesday 11/3 to my local store.

Costco just told me that they are cancelling my order for the highest stock model 16" because it's out of stock. I ordered the first day it was on their site, 10/20. Wow. I'm really mad.

*They said I can leave it open and if they get stock they'll fill it. No assurance they will be able to. I've contacted them 4 times over the last 2 weeks and they indicated there is no reason it won't ship this week. They assured me there's no issue.

Got my shipping email this morning for my order that Costco had told me last week might be “slightly delayed”. Shipped right on time for the estimated Nov 1 date that was showing when I placed my order. I wish Costco hadn’t sent me that delay notice because I wouldn’t have bought one from Apple last week.

If you have an extra one lying around by the end of the week, I'll gladly "recycle" it for ya - I'll send you my address. Heck, I'll even pay for shipping! ?

Unreal. Maybe one of the **double purchasers** can help. I could be in the same boat as my card pending never went through on charge unless my card will be charged once it is scanned into the Costco store. My online order reflects normal online ordered info and includes the shipping arrival date. Hard to see it getting cancelled, but who knows now….

My wife says she thinks they don't charge you until you pick it up from the store. I think you are good. You ordered the stock 16", highest spec model? What state are you in, Florida? I am so pissed at them. Told me for 2 weeks all is good, don't worry.

That’s def reassuring. Yes Florida Gulf side (Sarasota) stock 16 highest specs 32 GPU/ram 1TB Space Gray - one Costco here but it’s huge and gets a lot of traffic not sure if that really matters or not. My shipment is coming out of MD.

I chatted with a Costco customer service representative just a few minutes ago (about 11:10 am Pacific, Nov 1, 2021): "I'm looking at the order. I don't see any tracking. However there is a note on the order that the vendor says the item could not be fulfilled due to lack of inventory. The order itself doesn't look cancelled however. If you like, I'm happy to send this to our Resolutions team that could try contacting the vendor for a status. Or if you would rather I can cancel the order for a refund."
I ordered on October 22, like others on here - the Max chip. So, there we have it: demand outstripped supply, like on the Mazda Miata when it came out in the late 80's (for those who remember....).

10/22 is my order date. 10/27 I got the "delay processing" and 10/31 I received shipping notification with delivery date updated today on UPS.

My shipment went through and delivered this morning to my local Costco. I was wondering if something would trip it up but I picked it up an hour after it delivered to the store. I was wondering if it would have shipped with other Mac 16 orders but (first time picking up online order from Costco store fyi) came in a solo box and isn't indicative of Costco getting any MBP 16's in stock at this local store.

Unbelievable. My order for the same model placed on 10/20 is still open.

10/18 - Ordered with Apple M1 Max 14", 4 TB drive, 64 GB RAM - shipped from China on Mon local time. Due to Colorado tomorrow 11/4 via UPS Worldwide Express Saver well ahead of promised 11/10-17.

10/20 - Ordered Costco M1 Pro 14" 10 core, 1 TB, 16 GB - Delivered Sat 10/30

Now I have to decide which one to keep. I thought I could cancel the Apple before it shipped, as I got a credit card fraud alert call to approve that I never responded to. But, they shipped it anyway.

Glad you don't have to wait long after that notification. No idea how I got a smooth experience with my shipping and delivery to Costco store. All I can say is that coming from a 2012 MBP base model and waiting 9 years to upgrade, I'm blown away and I'm happy I didn't go with past model upgrades. Very glad I went with Max 32 GPU/RAM too, makes a huge difference to me in Final Cut Pro and even microsoft office for Mac apps among a few other things running smoother. In your case specifically, it'll be worth the wait when you pick up today/tomorrow.
