Coverage of Apple's iPhone 4 Press Conference

if you guys are gonna bet on what he'll say, why bet $$? how about you get serious and bet your MacRumors membership.

if you're wrong, you get your user ID banned. if you are right, you get to keep it and get a membership status bump?

It will be exciting to se what Apple has to say about the antenna issue. I hope it gets resolved before we get the iPhone 4 over here. Hope my predictions are right:

Option 1
Apple will give out free bumpers or gift cards to all iPhone 4 buyers to date. New iPhone 4s will be bundled with a bumper of your choice.

Option 2
Apple will explain that they have discovered two possible issues, one in software and one in hardware. The software issue was partially fixed with today’s 4.0.1 update, but will be fully remedied by 4.1 coming soon. This will fix the problem for most people. The hardware issue will be explained to affect only some of the early adopters. Those who have experienced problems will be eligible for a free exchange at any Apple Store.

Does anyone else think it would be really funny if apple just announced the release of the white iphone4, updated us on shipping delays and announced the international release date and made zero mention of the signal issue. Or is that just me.

I'm more thrilled about this conference than the release of the iPhone. I either expect something extremely exciting or something that'll infuriate this whole forum. Either way, it'll be fun!

It's actually not a bad idea. Explain how the iPhone 4 problems are going to be solved; then while you have the world's attention, go ahead and start selling! 🙂

OMFG! lol...wow...that 'hug' part REALLY caught me off guard! I just laughed so hard (while at work, mind you), I made this godawful sound. It's been a looooong time since I truly laughed out loud like that.

No matter what happens it will infuriate this whole forum. Haven't you been around long?
 
Do we know if Jobs will even be there? I've got a thought it might be Phil Schiller so they can keep Jobs as the Good News Bear.

My Prediction:
Voluntary exchange
Free bumper if you don't want to exchange
New software
Slight change to phone design
International Delay e.g. Canada

They never have live streams, why should this be any different? It's not like having a live stream changes the result.
