Steve's gonna get up there and say how sorry he is and cry - like Jimmy Swaggart.

Is anyone else wondering why the site that did the most in-depth analysis of the issue, AnandTech, was not invited? Seems a little ominous.

I'd love Steve to come out and say:

"We've sold a squillion iPhone 4s. Hold them properly and they work. We've made lots of money. It's cool. Thanks for coming. Jonny and I are now going out on the piss."

if there's no live video, what are those monitors for in the pic? maybe they'll upload video after?

Solution

I have it on good authority that Steve Jobs is going to personally admit there is a problem with the antenna, but instead of giving away free bumpers he is just going to tell all of his loyal fans to use their butt cheeks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it says Apple won't provide "live" audio and/or video of the conference. It doesn't say they won't provide video of it after.

Anyone think steve jobs would be nervous about this press conference (assuming he is running it)

Does anyone else think it would be really funny if apple just announced the release of the white iphone4, updated us on shipping delays and announced the international release date and made zero mention of the signal issue. Or is that just me.

I, for one, think that would be hilarious!

if you guys are gonna bet on what he'll say, why bet $$? how about you get serious and bet your MacRumors membership.

if you're wrong, you get your user ID banned. if you are right, you get to keep it and get a membership status bump?

you gonna wager now....? ;)

I bet that Steve uses the word iPhone at LEAST a half dozen times.

Bet made.
