Think again. I work with people who make 6 figures and they don't like to pay for anything. Example: I was making solid oak wine racks. Cost of the wood alone was $40. Add in tools and such and my time as overhead. I was asking a mere $80. So here come a doctor and he's interested. This same doctor years ago build his house and had stone imported from Europe. Nothing here was good enough. So he paid the bucks. But then with me, a little guy trying to earn a little "milk money" on the side, he was asking me to drop the price to $40. He wanted the thing for nothing. I would throw it in a fire first. Believe me, rich people are use to being given things for nothing by businesses wanting them to grace their doorsteps.

What a bitter attitude you have. You would make our current president very happy!

"Rich" people are all not alike. No one here could judge what your "wood thing" looked like or what it was worth. This country gathered the wealth it has today by using the free enterprise system. It is only now that we are leaving that behind, our country is going into the toilet.

No country can survive with 10% paying 70% of the taxes and 50% of the people paying nothing! 40% of everything I make goes into the black hole called the government. How would YOU feel if someone took half of everything you worked hard for so someone who has never worked can live in comfort?

Today went well. Got to the apple store after an hour and a half and the guy tells me £199 so I told him I can't afford that and he said that's the price. and i can't insure it because it's form the us.
My nan is going to the us in two weeks does anyone know if it will be cheep there??

I am working on my taxes right now and I did make a mistake.

It was 38.9%.

At least I am employed and employ people!

The guy told me if I go anywhere else they use heat to open it and that brakes it. Is this true?

Take it to a different store...or go back and try again. It all depends on the mood of the person you get service from. If that fails just ask for the manager and politely ask if there is anything they can do?

blah blah blah.... You don't need to lecture me about who pays the taxes and who has their hands out. I for one am hopeful we can clean-up the White House this November. That being said, I stand by my original comments in spite of the fact you have misjudged me. I have seen far too many people in my 58 years who make the big bucks but don't think they should be expected to pay for stuff. I knew an exec with a professional football team who was given free movie passes just so he would grace their theater with his presence. That's just the way it is. Free for those who can eaisly pay while the rest of us pay more so they get their free passes. It just amazed me that doc would spend thousands on rock for his home but tried to beat me out of a measly $40 for my "wood thingy" as you say. Happily I now work for a doc who is very generous and I am happy to work my a$$ off for him. He appreciates his employees. My "wood thingy" is something else you judged even when you don't have a clue what you are talking about. Stick it up your nose nerd....
