Crackling noise when answering a call (iPhone 14 Pro Max)

Is it normal to hear a loud crackling sound when answering a phone call? It happens only at the beginning.

When my phone rings and I accept a call, immediately there's this crackling/clicking sound coming from the speakers for a second. Is it manufacturing defect or something else?

Try another carrier. I’ve not heard of this issue before.
