I always say that at work when the ticketing system is broken. What is the ticketing system for the ticketing system?

Like if the Ticketing System could break out of the Ticketing System itself and fix itself...

At their large scale, I think it’s time Apple considers non-annual releases. Too much rushing features which never launch at launch anyway.

We need a Snow Leopard era again.
There was that deleting user files bug in snow leopard. The bug I encountered to where I never store anything long term on my main drive anymore.

Nearly all feedback provided via Feedback Assistant doesn’t even seem to be read by Apple. I think they are too smothered in bug and complaint reports and requests. Customer service is not what it used to be at Apple, now that they are an iPhone sales-driven trillion-dollar global entity that has to suck it up to the public and governments across the board. The only thing I still appreciate about them is that you can at least set up a free in-person appointment with a real person who might have some understanding and sympathy for your problem, if you happen to live anywhere near an Apple Store. Even if they can’t solve your problem, at least it brings perspective to the matter.
Well, in all honesty, I do get responses from them about the bugs I report from time to time.

just give feedback a voting system, have people vote up similar bugs or suggestions already and the higher its voted the more it goes up to the devs in apple even if they are probably goofing off at home and not working

I forget does Feedback try to detect if your issue was already reported? If so you could just tap me too or such, and it could tick up the occurrences by one

from my experience feedback app doesn't do much but update on recent updates and changes and the occasion that your problem was fixed which is really rare. for now you make your feedback it stays there empty unread and never used. Honestly I give up on this and just starting going to here in MacRumors or IOSbeta on reddit which personally I hate reddit; but its the only place that actually gets reactions since Apple just ignored feedback

MacRumors or Reddit will of course not fundamentally solve any software-related issues you have. There's no direct line between MacRumors/Reddit and Apple. This is just a place to talk and complain and maybe find a workaround.

i already know that; but honestly it’s better than feedback where there is no communication at all. the more people complain the sooner it usually gets fixed

Yes, I would agree about the complaining. I would amend this to say, "the more people that complain to Apple, the sooner it might get fixed."

Apple really owes its users nothing, and their products and software are provided and sold on an as-is basis, if I remember the terms of use correctly. It's their choice if they want to act on user feedback. But yes, the more people who make their voices heard directly to Apple, the better the chance that a change might be effected.

I just went through all of my filed/open Feedback and ALL are listed as Open with None for others reported. A Ton of issues, still, that I know for a fact others in various pages on here have as well. I know nothing’s going to be perfect, but how is anyone supposed to feel submitting “Feedback” to Apple when most folks’ experience is similar in that it feels like throwing a note in a bottle and dropping it in the ocean.
