Apple engineering chief Craig Federighi recent comments that it would be "very soon" that we would receive the upgrade to the new Apple Filesystem APFS for those of us who use Fusion Drives on Macs. Did he announce it at WWDC as we thought he meant, NO!

But the feature does require a major update to an OS whose requirements have been raised.
