Who still uses Yahoo, AOL, Live mail? If someone inquires about my listing (and I use Craigslist a lot) and emails me from Hotmail without sounding suspicious, damn right I'm going to respond.

I still use Yahoo. Why shouldn't I?

What are you using?

Please explain to me what your point actually is - I must have missed it.

That someone could use a less popular email program and still be noticed on Craigslist. Not an automatic generalization that it's spam strictly because of the domain.

Less popular than what? You didn't answer me - what are YOU using? What should we all be using, since apparently using either Yahoo or AOL sends some sort of message that you're unwilling to pass along to the rest of us?

Gmail, for example. I happen to use Gmail, AOL, Yahoo, & Live. I never said others shouldn't use a particular email provider. OP was saying Live mail is spam, which is generalizing. That's what started this. Youre over complicating this.

I don't feel like I am. You are the one who commented, "Who still uses Yahoo, et al?" as though the very idea were ludicrous.

I also have a Gmail account, but I've been using Yahoo mail since well before there WAS Gmail. I saw no need to stop using Yahoo and tell everyone to start using Gmail instead, so I use Gmail for completely different things. But your comment seems to suggest that you find it peculiar that someone would still use Yahoo, and I'm just trying to figure out why.

Oh hell yes. Charge 1500 for a device that will be outdated in a few weeks.

It's not a bad assumption. Who honestly uses hotmail anymore.

I don't think you understand. Nigerian prince = scam, not inflate the price.

The question was never directed towards anyone else except the OP. OP asked "Who still uses Hotmail", I responded to his question in the form of another question to prove a point that his point was incorrect.

What they all said. Haha

my dad uses hotmail, and I still use aol. I have a gmail, but I have everything hooked up to the aol account, and it would be too much effort to make a full switch. But to answer OP's question, DONT DO IT. Insist on cash, no questions asked.

I must've worded my initial response wrong. I never meant to infer that older email providers (like AOL) are obsolete and users shouldn't use them.
