Safari uses lots of ram: Switch browser, block flash.

Im allways installing news apps. how do i cleare the cache and repair the permissions?

Clear cache:
Start terminal
sudo -s
cd /System/Library
rm Extensions.kextcache Extensions.mkext

Reboot the machine.

Repair permissions:
Applications -> Utilities -> Disk utility
Click disk
Click Repair Disk Permissions

vlc crashes on mine quite often as well. i think that's actually normal.

Oh no, don't tell me all those crashes are there on a real mac aswell? Does VLC, Quicktime, all SIP-clients and Safari (when running together with SIP-clients) crash a lot on a real Mac aswell? In that case I don't understand how you can stand it, even less argue that macs are so superior to windows pcs.
