Go to the finder on your Dock, under Application, scroll down to Utilities. You will find Adobe Flash. Select it and Move to the trash. You might have to use your password to delete Flash from Applications.

I am surprised the last post on the subject is from early 2016. I just bought a macbook pro, top configuration (16GB RAM, i7), a mid 2015 model. Had this a few times, and today twice. How on earth can Apple afford to have such lingering issues? Should I have stayed with the PC?????
Very disappointing. No dissent system software, the PC has its own problems that caused me to switch.

[doublepost=1468715577][/doublepost]I saw a flood of posts on the same problem, running up until recently. Everybody is frustrated. I think that a class action should be considered.

I have the mid 2015 15.4" Retina and I am having the same problem with youtube just randomly freezing, it happens on all the different web browsers I use. Im starting to get pissed that i spent 2,500 on a computer that can't even play youtube videos half the time.

After redoing my Mac and doing a TimeMachine backup and restoring form that backup, I essentially had the issue back on my Mac
I had the exact same thing happen to me, and, since I love Safari, I decided to do a factory reset and manually copy over my docs and apps since I was unable to ascertain what was causing the issue. Haven't had an issue since.
