On one hand I am glad to hear that Apple got a lot of the bugs worked out in iOS 7.1 but on the other hand, I am disappointed that their QC (or lack of) allowed iOS 7 to be released for iPads in all of its buggy, laggy, memory-leaking form. I expected something more polished from a company like Apple that constantly advertises their harmonious union of hardware and software.

Have to agree here. I like the look and some of the features of iOS 7 and haven't much trouble myself but its obvious it's a little rushed-feeling. Like it came out about three months too early or something.

My iPad air and iPad 4 crash as well my 2013 MacBook Air. I never had any crashes before but since the new running systems all my Apple hardware has crashed at some time.

The Safari crashing issues are not 100% fixed. There are still some sites that crash Safari.
The OS crash issues seem to have been fixed.

This is 7.1 beta 2 and from what I hear there will likely be at least 2 or 3 more beta versions before release, I really expect the crashing to be squashed and tab reloading to be significantly improved.

It will be very easy for me to test, once released. I can get my air to crash consistently, by going to message forums that allow embedded videos. Scroll down the page as soon as it begins to render = instant safari crash, and if I'm really "lucky" the entire air reboots.

5S, iPad Air, mini all running iOS 7.0.4 and never had a single crash in safari, with up to 4-5 tabs open. They do all reload the pages though, as discussed in other threads, but never crashed for me. On my iPad mini Real Racing 3 crashed a few times, but I guess that was due to the App, hasn't been doing it since a while now with the latest (online)update.
