Not bad for a small sensor, considering I watch it on small screen I did not see many bad noise etc.

Does it say how he moved the files off his phone onto his PC? iPhone X doesn't support USB 3 speeds. Getting video off the device is such a huge pain!

I was under the impression all videos were synced to iCloud and will appear in the Photos app. Alternatively just AirDrop.
And if not using a Mac then DropBox.

The director is paid to like it - what else would he say?

Paid? He got paid at the box office , not like some blogger.

Why does he need a small paycheck from Apple?

Apple has their own studio now to create whatever they wanted to create.

They just gave him phone and he did it in a garage without any other equipment, doesn’t sound like a iPhone marketing, doesn’t the shot on iPhone marketing campaign make use of additional equipment such as gimbals and extra lenses?
It sounds like he wanted to get his hands on the xs max early and he did. he did mention he was going to upgrade to the max.

I don't see any issues with the short. The iPhone like any other hardware is just the tool. The means to capture. It's the story that really matters and to have a device on hand all the time that can capture the story and produce what to me looks pretty dang good is fantastic. Red would produce better quality, a prop stage would produce a better lighting setup, blah blah blah that is not the point here.

Gotta say, it's really hard to judge the image quality on a 1080p YouTube upload. Why didn't they upload it in 4K, I wonder?

Then your iPhone must have special abilities built-in just for you. I thought it looked fantastic.

That was just bland and awful. Not a good way to market the camera at all. I've shot better things with older iPhones.

Ever heard of airdrop?
Sadly, i don't find MACs good for anything. i love iOS. But apple PC's are beyond my comprehension. Windows to me is just so much better. But obviously, not in this situation for me. Windows has a similar function but i'm surprised no one has addressed the USB 3 speed issue. Is Airdrop between mac and ios THAT fast?

In some respect I could agree. Although I prefer macOS, some software isn’t available. The best solution for me was to run parallels, that way I can 4 finger swipe between macOS, Linux, and Windows. I can still airdrop these files and access them from the VM. Plus it helps that the machine is sexy and is reliable.

The experience of VM on the Mac is much smoother than on a PC. I think both operating systems are important to most people. I just prefer macOS as the main OS to get stuff done, VM’s can always be launched for stuff I can’t do
