Americans make fun and laugh at this so called sport. The ones who don't never heard of it.
Speak for yourself there friend. I happen to think it's quite cool. (no pun intended) I always thought it looked like a combination of bowling and chess on ice. There seems to be so much strategy involved in the matches depending on a variety of factors. My wife wants to find a place that has it in our area and take a group of friends.
Dallas Curling Club. There is also one here in Houston.
I'm seriously thinking of heading over to the Dallas club sometime soon. I just wish it wasn't 45 minutes from my house...
That's my problem too. But the closest club to me is 45 minutes away without traffic.
Maybe I should move to the Valley for curling.![]()
A bunch of people sweeping the ice before a sliding rock - yeah its cool![]()
Me too. It's 44 miles from my door in Fort Worth to the club in northwest Dallas, so I would be lucky to get there in 45 minutes.
I lived in Studio City for a year. It's not West LA, but it's still got a lot going on.
Like it matters. You don't go curling and you're STILL not cool.
Lighten up.![]()
