I must not be doing things right…

View attachment 2373525

I sit in front of this for 16+ hours a day. While there is a work M2 MBP in there (clamshell mode), the 2009 MacPro running Mojave is 'the most important product' in this picture.

I'm NOT using my phone as a computing device. Everyone's different obviously, but when I have access to screens like this I'm not using the dinky little screen on my iPhone.

What's an M2 MBP doing in your Computer History Museum? 😉

It's work issued. :D I have a KVM switch that has it connected to the two 30" Cinema Displays. ;)

The M2 replaces the 2015 work issued MBP that they gave me in 2019 (which I still have)

Ah-ha I see. So it's a merely a visitor.

It is honestly cool seeing all that old Apple tech still working, functional and actually being used productively all these years later.

iPhone 13 PM 256 GB. Battery at 87% after 2.5 years of use. Will probably replace battery next year, and upgrade to iPhone 18.

I would be looking to break that habit as soon as you can as that’s not a healthy situation. I sit in front of a computer for 8 hours a day and have to focus spare time to exercising and limiting screen time away from work. 16 hours a day is just a one way ticket to an early grave mate.

It's not consecutive hours. Because of transportation issues (one car, four people) my work day is broken into two, four-hour segments. I do 35-45 minute walks a day (mandated by my doctor) as well.

On weekends, I do spend more consecutive hours in front of the computer, but I do get out too. Since 1980 when I was 10 (I'm 53 now) I've been in front of computers/tvs and it's just something I'm used to.

I'm not rejecting your advice (you're actually confirming something I've know for a while), I just wanted to be clear that it's not wall-to-wall hours in front of a computer without ever getting up or doing something else.

Iphone SE2022 here, also have an Iphone 11 that I use for pictures when I want ultra wide and night pics. If the rumors about the next is true and it's OLED, I guess I'll be buying a used Iphone 13 and going the frankenphone screen route.

Still using an iPhone 8, but looking to replace it with an iPhone SE2022 as soon as I can find one at a decent discount from 2022MSRP (that doesn't require an unlimited+ contract).

Also still have my original 1st-gen SE in use as an MP3 player.

I'm using an iPhone SE (2020) plan to keep, the more or less correct size . being a luddite I use it as a phone

I also had the iPhone SE (2020) but I upgraded to the iPhone SE (2022) so I can keep that size and the LCD screen a bit longer.

Battery sucks compared to my brother’s iPhone 15 Pro Max though which is a bummer during trips.

iPhone 15 pro blue titanium 128gb

I had a lot of android phones earlier, before I got a iPhone 7, then iPhone 11 and then iPhone 14. I will try to not upgrade my 15pro for a long time, I like it very much.

iPhone 13 mini (128 GB). Recently purchased an OGSE (128 GB) as a secondary device for some more offline time and to go running with it.

I have a black 15 Pro Max for my personal phone, I had a 14 Pro Max as a business phone in purple, and unfortunately had a shattered back glass, made an insurance claim and they sent me a black 15 Pro Max, so now I have 2 of these.
I also have a blue iPhone 12 as a company provided phone, if that counts.

Why don’t u make a poll?
This layout of scrolling through pages of iphone models seems pointless
