Sorry, but I don't follow you. I use Finder.

The reason that there aren't the small cities it because there is likely a large one nearby. And seriously, do you need the time in a such a small city? If you don't like it, go back to Windows.

Yes!!

1.) Because I want to see the time in MY CITY so I don't have to do a translation everytime in my head

2.) Because I like to get the time from across the U.S. and again I don't want to have to translate.

Albany is a "small city", but I bet you most people there don't want to see "New York City" come up for their "local" time...

(That is a good example, actually, since a lot of people "Upstate" despise NYC!! *s*)

Mine isn't about that as much as I often forget if cities/towns that are near and dear to me are in one Time Zone or another.

I have a friend near Goodland, Kansas and I use the widget so I know if it is too late to call her.

I also sometimes buy stuff from a place in El Paso and forget which Time Zone it is in so I migt call after they close.

People use computers to make their lives more efficient. Well, Widgets that give me the Time in the City I want is "efficient". Giving me the Time/Weather in Portland, OR when i am in Seaside, OR doesn't help! 😛

Oh, I missed that last part!

Bitchy little comment.

How 'bout you don't post unless you can add something positive...

How about you stop whining about small details? Or read what others have to say. This thread could have been over a long time ago if you read each post. That sounds good.

And why don't you Google what time zone you want? Almost all of Kansas and Texas are in the same time zone and all of Hawaii is in the same zone.

And I don't really care if you go to Windows. I use OS 9, OS X, and Windows regularly.

I am so confused by this thread. If the city is near you and in the same time zone then you have the EXACT, down to the millisecond, same time. There's no translation involved.

You can click on the + and create a widget for each city if that helps. I have one for where I live and one for a city in Asia. Although I forget about it and google the time more often than not. Regards/ BRO
