I have installed ifile but cant seem to find my way. Does anyone know the path in iFile?

iPhonedisk worked perfect, cydia is backup for me. Thanks

Can I use this program instead of SSHing into my phone? Will it allow me to transfer files to my iPhone?

Yes, you will only need to use SSH if you want to run commands, I haven't installed SSH since I jailbroke. You can install iFile on the iphone to install deb, change permissions, copy files and them use IPhoneDisk or iPhoneExplorer to transfer files to your phone.

I have the sane exact issue and it must be because of elpelle6. Anyway, please help me out with every single step how to delete elpelle6, I am on a Mac if it makes a difference.

I edited the steps by step to correct the issue, it is on the original post after the image.

I am not sure but error gone after I removed elpelle6.com/repo/
I manually deleted the Release and package files of elpelle6 in var/lib/apt/lists
and edited cydia.list in /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d

I've had the error come back after a couple of hours remove anything elpelle6 from here too
private/var/lib/dpkg/info

Is it a program that I need to install to be able to view all the files on the iPhone so that I can delete that file?

Iphone explorer worked like a charm

I figured it out, just deleted the two elpelle6 packages that were there and now cydia works just fine

I don't know if this is related but I was having this Cydia Error so I removed all of my added sources and now my phone is constantly going into safe mode doing anything. Even entering Cydia usually.. safe moded. Anyone have the same problem and/or a solution?

---------- SOLUTION -------------------

Using SSH or iPhoneExplorer (PhoneDisk or DiskAid(paid) or anything you use to navigate your iphone file system, even iFile will work).

1) Go to: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ - edit Cydia.list file -> (if you have "elpelle6" repo, remove that one) if you don't have elpelle6 repo them remove all sources there. (file should be empty). -> save the changes.

2) Go to: /var/lib/apt/lists/ - remove all packages related to "elpelle6" repo, if don't have elpelle6 installed remove all packges there except for the /Partial folder

Reboot iDevice[/QUOTE]

I have removed all sources and packages as stated in OP solution, and now I have no sources in Cydia. How do I get these back. I tried to manually inputs some sources it has the "did not find repository" box. Any clue as to what I shoud do?

That happend to me before i reboot, did you reboot?
also, did you remove all sources on the Cydia.list file? or did you remove all sources on /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory?

I rebooted....I think i deleted everything in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory. Where is "Cydia.list"? my /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory is now empty.....am i screwed?!?!?!

Yeah...that's your issues.. Instructions said to "edit" Cydia.list file on that directory not to remove everything that directory.

1) Go to: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ - edit Cydia.list file -> (if you have "elpelle6" repo, remove that one) if you don't have elpelle6 repo them remove all sources there. (file should be empty). -> save the changes.

You can manually add the default repo files, they are short, I can post the in there in a minute.

You can also try re-installing Cydia with JailbreakMe.com

Thanks for all your help! I did try to re-jailbread, but gets stuck on the space screen. Yeah my bad.....what i get for not reading thouroghly!

solved!

Well this problem that no one paid attention to has finally been solved and was unrelated to the sources issue, it ended up being NoAccessorySplash iOS4. BE WARNED, DONT INSTALL THIS PACKAGE.

no it's not. if you read the thread you will see that the problem went away after removing the elpelle6 repo.

i have noaccessorysplash with no errors.

@Maturola Again thanks for all your help. After your last post, I realized I didnt have OpenSSH so I couldnt do it that way. After countless tries to get apt.saurik.com back as a source. Tried to JB once more. still got stuck at the initial screen. Thought it over and realized that I have the PDF patch in. uninstalled that and was able to JB again. I guess we now know the PDF patch works (duh)! after a reboot I was able to get sauriks repository back and then all of the other sources. What an ordeal, just because I didnt take an extra 10 sec to read thoroughly! Alls well now!

I got the same problem. Cydia constantly gives me the "Problem parsing Dependency Conflicts" error.

HOWEVER:
I can't SSH into my iPhone as I didn't install OpenSSH in the first place. Now I can't install it anymore as I can't use Cydia anymore.

I can't use iPhoneExplorer (iDisk etc) as I don't have AFC2add installed. So I can't access root / but only /var/mobile/media! Same here - can't install AFC2add because I can't access Cydia anymore.

What can I do?:confused::confused::confused:

I received this error today. I used Phonedisk on my Mac to follow these instructions and this works for me. I readded hackulo and the problem came back so I did it again and now all is well (without hackulo)

1) Go to: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ - edit Cydia.list file -> (if you have "elpelle6" repo, remove that one) if you don't have elpelle6 repo them remove all sources there. (file should be empty). -> save the changes.

Well it doesn't work for me. I have Phonedisc installed and it always mounts my iPhone with the media folder and not the root folder.

Also made sure to have the box checked "allow access to real root".

iPhone Explorer

Just download iPhone Explorer. Just utilized it to end the "Database Problem Parsing Dependency Conflicts" error. Should be no issues using that tool.

Database Problem parsing Dependency Conflicts

When you use the iphone navigation system then Go to: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ - edit Cydia.list file and if elpelle6 is occur then remove all the source for the files and edited cydia.list
