iPad Damaged iPad Pro (2017) screen?!

Hey there. Just came home to find my iPad (2017) screen like this:




I can see the dark bar flicker with the refresh rate of the screen. Has anyone every seen anything like this? I wonder how much a repair would cost (out of warranty). The iPad functions as usual btw. :/

That’s terrible. 10.5 or 12.9? Not that it matters much... Some of the 2017 models had some hardware issues.

Have you tried a restore? It’s probably a hardware issue but it’s always the first thing Apple will tell you.

Does it have the issue on boot with the white Apple screen as well? That would pretty much rule out software.
