I canceled a preorder with ATT to put one on apple all done on the 12th. Then At 1am on the 19th I started to chat with CS at ATT and asked if I canceled the order with apple could they make the eligibility come back ASAP and not the 24-48 hrs so I could just go to the store and get the 6+. I gave them the order # from apple so they could verify it was canceled and within 15 min they got it so I could go to the store and get the phone. It all worked and walked out of ATT with the 6+!!!

I returned the Space Gray iPhone 6 on Friday that I got using the NEXT program. After only 5 minutes of processing the return the rep. Showed me that I was already eligible for a full subsidy or NEXT upgrade again. I thought for sure it would take longer than that.

I canceled my 6+ pre-order in a Verizon store and bought a 6 immediately. No issues at all.

AT&T SUCKS.

Ordered from ATT on the 12th, 10 min after 3:00 am Edt.

Got the notice that I'd receive between 10/02 - 10/12. Ticked, but must be mistake.
Talked to three CSRs on 16th no luck. 19th the "official" release, passes me by.
Went to ATT in person no luck . (They said they wouldn't receive 6 pluses till November)
Tried to cancel order to go another route- no luck.
Received my 6 plus grey 64 5 days after release. 24th.

Worth the wait and glad I didn't cancel.

Wow... somebody is messing up here. I bought 2 128gb 6plus from apple to pick up at the store. I wanted to do Att next so I returned both of them and re bought them right there at the Apple store. Not even 5 minutes went by and I was able to purchase both of them no problems.

Partly your fault? I would say totally your fault... it's the biggest product launch since the dinosaurs, its not as simple as putting a widget in a box (it involves contracts and complications) and you cancel the preorder TWICE?

Of course it's not fraud, but they have to have a system in place to prevent fraud and not allow automatic status changes like this, requiring manual intervention.

Hopefully you get your phone quickly, and bend-gate doesn't delay manufacturing... but it's hard to blame AT&T in this situation. If you left your original order alone, you very well could have had your phone by now...
Totally his fault hell no
No way it should take that long. Apple notifies ATT once the order is canceled once that happens your upgrade should be reinstated. No way it should take 5 or 6 days.

I am on day 5 of waiting for my canceled preorder to revert. I was just today given a case number and said it will now be until October 8. The previous 7 ATT Customer Care reps never suggested opening a case number. ATT sees the preorder is canceled, but I have been told it will take 24 hours, 72 hours and now it is 9 days.

Everyone has been very nice, that surely isn't a problem, just no one knows what they are doing completely.

So here I sit continuing to wait with my first world problem, enjoying my iPhone 5. It's the phohe you have that's the best I suppose.

I just checked my AT&T account, and not only has my upgrade eligibility NOT reverted back, but now it looks like they've charged me the $40 upgrade fee.

My bill is $80 higher at the moment. It just keeps getting worse.
I tried posting on AT&T's Facebook page. After Twitter and refit resulted in nothing. And 7 hours ago got a nice message saying we will help you now please email your information. Haven't heard beack yet. Jerks.
