That guy looks like an ugly Liam Neeson.
I thought the sickening, slimy Bond played by Brosnan was just right... but oh well. Whoever they choose, it won't work unless he's pretty.

Talking of pretty boys, did you see who was second favorite? Julian McMahon, I had no idea of the name when I read it, but it's that bloke from Nip/Tuck!
If he could pull off a good english accent (he's an aussie), I think he could do it. 6'3", very able to give the impression of being full of himself
I still vote for Jude Law ...before another scream of him being to girly, check out his performance in Love, Honour and Obey where he plays a criminal character that resembles the right b*stard that James Bond should be (according to the books...)

Bring back Pierce "Remington Steele" Brosnan. He's my favorite. Although Clive Owen would be awesome. too. I dont think Daniel Craig is "pretty" enough. Or smooth enough.

My #1 preference would be for Pierce Brosnan to return. If not, then my #2 preference would be Clive Owen... I didn't think he'd be good for the role until I saw his performance in Sin City.

Which should hopefully not suck, like the last two. Brosnan makes a decent Bond, and although the best film of his era is definitely Goldeneye, I'd like to see him return for another film.

I think the Bond series has lost its 50/60/70's charm and now is an excuse to blow stuff up with cgi. I used to be a huge fan but now i dont even really give a sh*t because its been going down hill.

Definitely. There's nothing like Connery's and Moore's Bonds of old. And yes, CG stuff is becoming way too prevalent in movies nowadays. No substitute for big car, or boat (a la Live & Let Die)
chases with lots of stuff actually blowing up. Even miniatures look way better than today's CG stuff. The new Star Wars's look like cartoony crap now 'cause they don't use miniatures anymore.
