He played "The Driver" in BMWFilm's "The Hire" series too... It seems that those (and perhaps Gosford Park) are what kicked his career from just a TV actor to a movie star. I thought he was excellent in "The Star" with Madonna (uncredited), and I've been a fan since. Of those up for the nod, I think Owen would be the best choice. His upcoming movie with Jennifer Anniston looks to be clever.
