Dashboard X - widgets on your home screen

I can't say what he's using but I downloaded gridlock to do it for mine. I thought I wouldn't care about placing icons where I wanted them but now that I'm using it... it's flat out brilliant.
I use Gridlock and Springtomize 2 to position, size, and manipulate my icons. These two apps are the only ones needed to do whatever you want with your app icons
Pretty sure the weather widget doesn't refresh on the homescreen until it is refreshed in NC. Basically making it useless on the homescreen.
dont really know who to talk to or ask this about but a much needed widget is like a scorecenter widget like the espn ticker that just runs the scores from all or chosen sports games like the stock widget. anybody heard any thing like that in the works
I've always hoped for a sports related addon for notification center. Actually, I've been hoping since I first installed LockInfo a couple years ago. I still use Lockinfo and one of my favorite updates was the compatibility with NC addons.
And now with Dashboard X (sick job Ori!) the wish for a sports related widget is even greater because it could appear on my lockscreen with Lockinfo, on my notification center (infoshade), and now on my homescreen with either Lockinfo or Dashboard X. Hopefully one day soon I'll come across a sports ticker. In the meantime I'll rely on push notifications from sports related apps like ESPN, TeamStream, and The Hockey News.
I can't wait to jailbreak my 4S! Actually I can wait....I waited 3 months after the initial launch and 3 months since I got my replacement haha

If you know a website that has an RSS feed for what you want then you could use the IntelliScreenX ticker which is a NC widget.
Thanks 3bs. For me it would be the Lockinfo RSS plugin, and I've certainly tried that in the past with subpar results. I actually tried it about this time last year and I didn't have much luck. I found feeds for specific sports but it was very "clunky" because each feed was for a different sport (and as a result taking up way too much real estate on my phone for one specific purpose). On top of that it wasn't even updated very well so it wasn't a good solution. The push notifications were a better choice at that time. I'll do some googling because maybe now there's a feed specifically designed for this purpose. I haven't looked in a while. I kinda gave up since I didn't find anything very useful.
When I open the ESPN app, at the bottom is a ticker that has game times, game results, and headline news. But it's useless because I don't leave the app open lol. I only open the app to read an article or quickly check a score. I hope someday cydia will have something similar for the notification center.
edit: *I just realized the ESPN app's ticker only shows headlines. Shows you how useless I think it is haha. I never read it. Just another reason a stocks-like sports ticker would be useful for the notification center/dashboard x.

Oh sorry I never used LI extensively (only trial) so I didn't know it had a similar feature. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. I will keep an eye out for something like this. I could have sworn I saw a widget for game scores but I can't remember which sport.

Update is great. Interactive and the weather widget works as expected.
I've had subpar success with the ISX Ticker though. When I scroll through the updates, they don't line up properly. Anyone able to get the Ticker working right on the homescreen? Works fine on the lockscreen.

Anyone having any problems with the QuickNote widget? The Done button rarely shows up on my home screen now.. It used to always show up before I updated to 1.0.3. It still works fine in my NC.
Does anyone have the deb file for the version before 1.0.3? 1.0.3 is not playing nicely with QuickNote and I don't want to wait for the next update. I can provide proof of my purchase if you see the need.

Today's update (1.0.5) fixed my issue with QuickNote. Did you have any luck with NCDate?

No, uninstalled it and am using the ticker clock from IntelliScreenX. Like it much more. The problem for both NCDate and the Ticker Clock is that they cannot both be on your springboard homescreen and in Notification Center. In laymans terms, it seems they cancel each other out and the clock slowing down also slows the phone down until it freezes. Not a programmer so have no clue on how to fix it other then make a choice and put it on your home screen OR in Notification Center. If not on home screen then it will not be on lock screen either.
You should email cjori about this. I did but he said it's too much work to have the 2 independent of each other but if he sees more people want this, maybe he'll work on it. What I wanted was to be able to have a full view of WeeSearchPro on my home screen and the slim view in my NC.
Ori does not seem to respond to anything I send or do for him. I constantly try to update him with bugs and ideas (im a beta testor) and he ignors all my tweets and posts so I will let others do that and just struggle through.
I would think that he would acknowledge feed back but I guess youngsters do not do what we consider courtesy in my generation

He's responded to a couple of my tweets and also my emails when Dashboard X first came out. I'm sure he's just swamped and not being rude.
How'd you get to be a beta tester? Who do you beta test for? I would love to be one.
