Data recovery from NTFS on a Mac?

I need to recover some deleted pictures from my friends PC. Is there any program that will be able to read the NTFS formatted HDD?

OS-X can natively read NTFS formatted volumes.

I know it can read it but I can't find a program that will recover deleted data from it.

I thought you meant you had deleted them from your machine, and had to recover them from the PC drive.

ProSoft's Data Rescue is about the only app that comes to mind, but I'm not sure it supports NTFS from OS-X. They do, however, have a PC version.
