Date filter missing in forum sorting options

Is this a bug or has it been removed? If yes, just curious to know why. Thanks for any help you are able to provide

Can you be more specific? Chances are it's just not a feature in Xenforo.

Take a look at he attachments. You will see the old style thread display options have a "From the" filter. A date filter. This is very useful to have. Ability to sort within a time period would be mighty helpful.

Please try:

1. in the search dialogue, specify a date (screenshot below)
2. perform the search
3. in search results, sort.

Sorry, step 3 above is impossible. Now I recall why I used the keyword 'some' –

… change the sort order of topics … that's already possible in some interfaces. …

So that's a big +1 (thumbs up) from me, to the opening poster's request for sort capabilities.

I did very often sort things with vBulletin.

@arn please consider reading this topic alongside two other things:

1. Pages per set of search results; and sets of fewer than 500 results where truly there are (or should be) 500 (2015-06-29)
2. Identifying topics where a person has waited most patiently for a reply (2015-07-04)
