She was a hoot on the Craig Ferguson program! You go, Betty!!!!!

I so wish my mother were still here to enjoy this....like the 99 year old on YouTube, my mother (who would have turned 100 in late March) would have loved an iPad and taken to it instantly! She started using a computer at age 93....... Unfortunately my mother isn't here to enjoy this, nor my husband, either, but each time I touch and enjoy my iPad I think of how much both of them would have loved this thing.........

Letterman's product hasn't changed much in years - decades. To complain about it now comes off like fanboyism.

That's impossible! We don't have any of those on here! :p

The video said it wasn't available or being blocked by an adblocker when I tried the link. Played fine on YouTube, though.

people still watch Letterman? on a side note i find it funny now that they move Lenno back to the Tonight show and the ratings are even worse than when O'brien moved over Smart move NBC.

That was a complete waste of time. OP should have just cut out all the whining crap and cut straight to the list.

I remember when Dave used to be funny. He showed absolutely zero emotion.

It was like "he was phoning it in."

You have to read between the lines a little, but he said before he did 'the bit' ("Does this really matter?") that he didn't want to give it any more publicity than it already had, most especially criticising guy who lost the phone.

Dave's been phoning it in for a few years now. It's difficult to do a good show every night, and given the staff he has, that must be depressing. He seems like an intelligent guy with the right values, and I wouldn't want to be stuck in that job. The show seems like it's got more 'executives' working on it than the number of the studio audience.

I have never been much into Late Night shows. Despite how hackneyed they are I usually do enjoy the Top 10.

right...

For the few people that still watch DL, Apple thanks you for the free publicity. And I agree, I want me 2 minutes back.

People can hate, but this one was full of win.

6. Thought there was an App that would wisk it back to my house.

People are just waiting for technology to save us from every single strain and effort in life.

I don't like Letterman's humor anymore. But that may not be his fault. Maybe his writers don't know how to make me laugh.

Dang, members on MR are a tough crowd.

I thought it was really funny even though Letterman is not my type of comedy.

However, losing an iPhone does hurt people. It hurts other phone companies because people will hold off buying until they know if the lost iPhone is going to be the final product.

Who care if it hurts Apple. Many companies will announce new products prior to releasing them and/or give discounts on the old products before new products are released.

No other company works harder than Apple to keep consumers in the dark so that they cannot make a good decision on if they want the old product now or wait 2 days and get the newer, better product for the same price.
