Of course I'd drink during the day. Unless I was at work, I don't see the problem.

And would I drink while sitting around and watching TV? I don't see a problem with that either, whether I'm alone or not.

Heck, I'll have whisky while I'm playing Donkey Kong Country on my Wii.

Ha! Drinking during the day is the only way I can make it through my job! :D

I don't have a problem with it, especially on days off. I've never understood the idea of waiting until an arbitrary time to enjoy a good drink.

I guess I don't fully understand the question.

Day is for drinking, Night is for sleeping. It's been working for me for a while. :p

An old wise man once told me,"Don't want a hangover? Don't stop drinking."

Also... "Want good sex? Call in a pro and hire some protection."

If you feel like it's a problem, then it's a problem - regardless of whether it's a problem for someone else.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not a problem until you reach a point where you feel compelled to have the drink.

I've gone golfing with friends many times who would have a drink or two on the course. I see no problem with it. A drink over lunch at a restaurant seems pretty normal, if not common, as well.

You've never had a drink early in the day (say noon-ish or before) and have someone say "How can you drink (fillintheblank) this early?". I've never understood why some people find it odd to drink a good beer, for example, before 5pm or noon.

my basic rule is no alcohol in the morning, and always in moderation.
other than that alcohol at lunch is fine, but i avoid it if i have to work cause it gets me sleepy (i actually mostly avoid lunch altogether for the same reason)
if it's a day off, then it's fine.
on the golf course i think a beer is fine, wine seems kind of out of place (especially red) and for harder liquor i'd say wait until after

Depends what your doing at the time of said drinking. I've gone fishing at 6 am and been pretty drunk by 9 or 10 in the morning. The rest of the day is sure interesting when that happens.
