People who share your opinion must be a rare few. ;) :)

Summer all the way. :D

I also enjoy cold temperatures, but not the blizzards. It is wonderful cuddling weather.

Heat just bothers me.

Thanks Mum... sorry, i mean "Mom" :p

We also go back to GMT at 2am tonight - end of British Summer Time. *ugh* how depressing... darkness from about 4pm

still, the extra hour of beauty sleep will come in handy...

The British have to switch away from GMT? Is that even possible? That's like telling Greenwich that it's not going to be 0 degrees longitude for the next 6 months. It's just as freaky to me.

Well, it's now 2am, 21 degrees and humid as all get-up. Little droplets of rain are falling very intermittently and it's just gross. I hate the humidity, the heat (oh god the heat) and the lethargy summer brings. Give me a cold day where I feel like I can get up and go anywhere anyday.

Stupid summer, I haven't seen you in 2 years and I'm not happy to see you now. It does however mean my birthday and Christmas are just around the corner. I'll be working Christmas Day but if tradition holds I'll be at my Nan and Pop's place on Boxing Day, hiding from the heat in their air-conditioned oasis with the faint hint (hopefully very faint) of bushfire smoke in the air. Settling in after lunch for five fabulous days of cricket against the South Africans - that's if they can take us to five days that is....hope so, it's more fun to watch then.

New Years, meh, working, never really gave a stuff about New Year's. But the 2nd of January is SCG cricket day!! Woohoo!! Going to the game with the lads, hopping into some overpriced, disgusting beer and scoffing pies (that meat pies to you yanks) all the day long whilst going completely nuts in the blazing sun. Magnificent.

Basically, summer can be here for whenever there's a Test on, Christmas and that's about it. Any time outside that summer can bugger off from whence it came.

i enjoy cold temperatures too, and unlike the others, i take it a atep further and love snow, blizzards, and all of that jazz!

lol I am SUCH a Canadian ;)

i love the cold too.... the snow is a pain when it comes too much at once though, i can only take small amounts of it at a time

Let me guess you either live in one of the few places:

1. Arctic
2. Antarctic.
3. Greenland.
4. Russia, Siberia.

I cannot stand the cold at all, it tend to bother me with dry skin (even drinking a lot of water and putting lotion will not help). Snow and frost on the car in the morning, along with slippery road conditions or black ice. No thanks.

Seriously, do you have a permanent coat of hair on you. :p ;) :)

haha, no some of us just don't like to be hot, sweaty and sticky. or well i dont like it all the time at least

i can put up with it at times, but i like the cool crisp air, its refresing
i also have a low body temperature, so i get warm very easily, and it takes a bit for me to be cold.

Shard, if you were born or raised in Winnipeg than there really is nothing else to look forward to. ;) :)

Gotcha - can't say I'm in that boat... although I'm only a 5 hour drive away from the Peg... ;)

I love winter too... living in Ottawa 4 years... i just love the crisp air of a winter morning [ok, it's very hard to get out of bed to go to school though >_<] maybe I don't miss the -40 around April that much... snow is fine... it's warmer when it snows... Winter just begins today in Hanoi... so refreshing... the cool air... I don't like summer that much... all the required trip to the beach... it's awful, I hate the beach

Yep, between March and October we're an hour ahead of GMT ;) GMT+1 or BST which ever you prefer. :)

I love winter also. I'm enjoying looking at snow flurries out my window as I type. Not usual at all occurred on this date in 2000, then on the 8t of October in 2001.

The time change is a waste of time and money. I will enjoy the extra hour of sleep though. Have to get up at 5:10am Sunday for my Media Ministry at Church.
