Did you get a replacement? Do Apple have a requirement for the number of dead pixels before they'll replace it? I have a few dead pixels and am thinking of going to the genius bar for a replacement.

I had one dead pixel, showed it to the genius and replace right away.

oh thats good to hear, mine has a few dead pixels together, and although it doesn't really effect the using of the phone, it jus annoys me, considering how much we pay for it and it has a defect. Booking an appointment for this week

What is a pixel that is lighter than the other pixels around it, is it still dead but the color from around it transfers to it so it looks like its changing colors?

another way to put it, is that it's not blacked out and it's not stuck..

Hmmm I just noticed a dead pixel in the upper right corner of mine as well. Are the replacement units they have still new or are they already on refurbished iPhones?
