It's been more than a month since we last saw a notable discount on the AirPods Max, but today Amazon has the headphones for $449.99, down from $549.00. This is still one of the best deals we've seen in 2022 on the AirPods Max, and overall it's a second-best price.

Silver, Sky Blue, and Space Gray are available at $449.99, and you won't find this deal anywhere other than Amazon. There is no coupon needed this time around, as the discount has been automatically applied.

We track sales for every model of the AirPods in our Best AirPods Deals guide, so be sure to bookmark that page while you shop around for the wireless headphones.

I’d advise anyone to wait for the new release of APPM.

Apparently an insider told me that the new AirPod Pro Max’s will no longer include the AirPod Pro Max’s in the box…the good news however, is that they will include the charging cable!

Call me when:-
  1. you can turn it off
  2. when it has a proper case
  3. when it supports better codecs
  4. … and when it has usb-c
I think it's hilarious how everyone is starting to crap on apple for prolonging the death of lightning. The negative sentiment has always been there, just not as visible as it is now across different online communities. Let's hope that EU ruling will speed things up to all devices having standardized charging ports.

I believe it gets worse as more products already have C. Especially a remote now.

I have had a lot of headphones and these things sound amazing un-wired and wired. The price is not out of line with other high-end headphones and you can pay $1k, $2k and up for high quality headphones. I don't understand why people b***ch so much about this product. If you don't like them, just buy a pair of headphones in the checkout line at the grocery store.

Every. Single. Thread. they come out of the woodwork demanding that Apple build a ******** version and sell it for $200 or whatever. Look, I get it, people are too cheap to buy them. I'm too cheap to buy a lot of nice things. But you don't see me whinging about the fact that those things exist.

I've worn mine for easily 2,000-3,000 hours at this point throughout most of the pandemic and beyond for music, video calls, TV, travelling and at home, and they've been amazing for all of it. The noise cancellation shuts out everything, and the transparency mode sounds so natural you forget you're wearing headphones. The solid metal earcups look as good as they did on day 1 and the controls and headband hardware are as silky smooth as ever. I got 8 hours use out of 50% battery the other day, which isn't bad for them being nearly 2 years old and in daily use. I paid full-ass retail price for them the minute they came out, and the $250 or so they cost beyond a pair of plastic Sonys or Bose has LONG been forgotten.

These are great. My favorite part is the “always on” feature I can just put these on and they automatically connect ready to use. My least favorite part is the weight. These are considerable heavier than my Sony 1000xm4 and Bose QC45s.

1. I turn it off every time the battery entirely runs out
2. I have a proper case (courtesy of a different company)
3. Quite honestly, I know they sound fantastic to me, not sure I would even notice if they supported more or less codecs
4. Mine also has USB-C - going into the power brick :-D

Quite honestly, I love mine even with everything you mentioned I still think it is way overpriced, especially for its current age, but I have no regrets in getting mine when I did (FWIW I got mine for $420 a year ago and still use them daily)
