Value is in the eye of the beholder. By all means, buy the Bose or Sony's. I'm sure they're great, too. I will always keep my original HomePods and AirPod Max's. They are two of my favorite products I've ever purchased from Apple. I would instantly purchase them again. I got them both for a great price, but I would easily pay full price for them given the amount of happiness and joy they've brought me.
