I’m holding off until they update the MBA’s colors to pastel with white bezel.
You just gave a large number of people higher blood pressure. ?

“WTF BBQ!?!?!? Now Apple is going to make the MBA look like the iMac? Lame!”

[Edit: meant to write iMac, not iPad. Fixed it]

9to5 has an article today anticipating just that. MR actually seems to be the only place where people are getting the vapors over the new iMac.

why is a MacBook Pro with 8gb of ram even a thing in 2021? Macrumors shouldn’t even promote this nonsense

With how memory management is broken right now it's debatable if even 16GB is sufficient. There needs to be legislation to crack down on scammy misinformation like 8GB on M1 is equivalent to 16GB.

If you hear the keynote segment it says the bezels are a soft grey not white. Apple has done the white and black bezels on iMac and it’s moving to soft grey for the M1. I suspect in-person these will look nice.

Just ordered a 13" MacBook Pro M1 with 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM Refurb and got it for $1211 after taxes. Big drama behind it that spanned 2 weeks, I ordered a MacBook Air M1 16GB model and cancelled it using an Apple gift card but the balance never returned for 2 weeks until today. So for my troubles they took off $150 for me today and was able to get a MacBook Pro M1 instead! Can't wait.

I'm waiting for the Unicorn Barf version, myself!

Legislation, lmao. We can’t put every little trivial things into law. We need smaller government not bigger.
We've already put every little trivial thing into law. Not everybody smokes a whole pack all at once. You don't want 19 ciggies to go bad on you; after all, flavor is the most important sense to smokers, right?

Yet you can't sell individual cigarettes on the streets of New York City. If you do, they'll kill you!

I have 8gb and honestly it's enough for me. Maybe in 25 years it won't be enough but for the foreseeable future it's gonna be aight. No I don't edit 12K raw videos on a MBA.
