Own two sets one for me and one for gf

worth it at full price. Buy a sleep dock, a abs molded plastic stuff w magnets you dock and they sleep instantly

I may go for a pair at $399, $349 is better though. Maybe someone will have them for Black Friday at that price😀
I watch 95% of my TV in my bedroom using AppleTV4K and AirPod Pros.
Would like something with more bass, plus I've fallen asleep only to wake up and do the now where did that airpod fall to hahah
Just looked and Best Buy has them for $449 also

I got a pair for my birthday back in February, but the force of the headband was too much and gave me a serious migraine after about 45 minutes. I tried loosening the band by stretching it over a basketball and then a box, but they kept snapping back. I know they're absurdly expensive, but if Apple or a third part company ever releases a headband for larger heads, I'll buy them in a heartbeat. I play a few woodwinds, and using spacial audio plus with the noise cancelling off, it felt like I was actually jamming with other people. I've tried a lot of headphones, and that's the first time I've ever experienced that.

Just picked up my set of $385.99 Open Box (Excellent) AirPods Max from Best Buy. They look brand new; the person that returned them hadn't even taken out the Lightning cable and there wasn't a scratch on the headphones. They were 49% charged.

I tried checking the warranty status and it said that "Purchase Date Cannot Be Verified." Made a quick call to Apple and the rep had me upload a copy of my receipt, and verified the 10/10/2021 purchase date. So I now have a full 1-year warranty on my "open box" AirPods Max.

Initial observations: sound quality is excellent, fit on my head is great, and the carrying case "bra" is an absolute joke. WTF were they thinking?

At this price this is a steal. I bought APM on launch day and couldn't be happier. At home, at the park, birdwatching using transparency etc, it's just an amazing gadget. It has great sound quality, it's really comfortable, don't let the weight fool you and it has great ANC.

This is one of the best products Apple made, and it's a 1st gen product.

Sold my original pair was too expensive at £550.

But bought them again for £399 on sale. Fantastic product apart from the case which I solved by buying a third party one.

Surprised to see them going on sale though. Not something you normally see on  devices.
Which third party case would you recommend? Thank you.

If they come out out with a lighter, smaller, plastic version that folds better and comes with a normal case for $299 I would be a buyer. They're really great sounding headphones but the design is quite odd and they're too expensive for consumers.
I love mine and they practically live on my head most days.

But that said? I'd also be interested in a lighter version. The build quality on the APM is incredible and they're a joy to use, but it took me a good chunk of time to get used to the weight.

Same
Weight on the head was a major turn off for me
Not to mention the corresponding clamping force required to keep them firmly in place. I don't know how it happened, but after a few weeks that stuff really stopped bothering me as much, but at first it was making me question my purchase. My previous headphones were literally 1/3 the weight! So yeah, I'd take a hit on that build quality and heavy materials if it meant shaving off some grams, for sure.

Yep. Along with that, I have longer hair often times throughout the year and the weight and hair combo made it easy for them to slide around and out of position and threaten to completely fly off my head if I wasn’t careful about what I was doing with them while on. (Cooking was a problem sadly)

It’s from Spigen. really good quality.

Bought mine from “its worth more” (a company that operates technology exchange kiosks here in the United States) on eBay for $349 - “refurbished”. They were really open box, still in packaging, and had AppleCare+.

Great headphones but I wouldn’t spend anymore for them.

Usually discounts start appearing on non-Apple stores when supply finally catches up with demand or when a new model is coming.

Save for a month or so when immediately released, were these ever really supply constrained?

I spent some time with an Apple store employee maybe 5-6 months ago (in for something else) and he said nobody ever even tries them on. They seem super niche, particularly at the asking price.
