My issue with the apple charger is that you also need:
- a $20 apple charger (you don't get 20W charging with a non apple one you happen to have like you do with just a cable)
- a $20 extention cord
- a magsafe case
So even at the above discounted price... You're still at least $67 plus tax in...

yep.. no. maybe that's what you need, but I already travel with a lightweight charger and cable. so. no extra cost.
 
For sure. The Belkin charger is a very different product. My point was that you aren't getting enough of a "premium experience" with the magsafe duo to justify the price tag. It just feels like a normal charger to me. Nothing special.

Because the premium is in its size and portability. If you don't travel a lot, agreed, waste of money. But if you do travel a lot, and I do, still, it is very premium over the other clunky travel alternatives. I leave it in my travel bag and never take it out at home or office. its always where I need it for when I do travel. Very special indeed.
