It looks like the round keys were a last minute design change... round pegs and square holes.

I don’t even look at Logitech keyboards anymore they’ve gotten so bad. The peak was the DiNovo Edge Mac edition. That thing was solid and the keys were perfect.

I wish someone made a ultra-low profile keyboard like Apple's magic keyboard in a compact size (no numpad and cursor keys shifted over like on laptops) WITHOUT the stupid FN key in the bottom left corner! Seriously, when I'm gaming, that spot is ALWAYS reserved for CTRL, which is crouch in any FPS game. Closest keyboard I've been able to find is the Keychron K3 with Optical Red switches and the Vissles LP85; however both have different switches and the Vissles is much louder having that high pitched CLICK sound rather than 'THOCK' sound Apple's Magic keyboard has.

Honestly, there's so many choices for keyboards and nothing to suit my needs.

I bought the Satechi Slim X1 but its also got the damn FN key in the wrong place and the keys feel a bit mushier than Apple's. Will probably return it, though it looks amazing in Space Gray/Black colours (and cheaper than Apple). Works wired/wirelessly too.
Have you tried remapping the key with Karabiner Elements?

My recent run with Logitech wireless mice and keyboards was a disaster, their things just die for no reason within weeks - I probably got a bad batch that isn't the average experience of customers, but hell I want nothing to do with them at the moment.

What I don't get is why Apple never came out with a Bluetooth keyboard with the numeric keypad. I have my Mac on a rolling stand so I need a wireless keyboard.

I do like the coordinated design...the keys look like ones that were often on manual typewriters way, way back.

Not my cup of tea, but I do like seeing Mfr's stretching on stuff like this - sometimes they'll make something I like.

Good to point out for Logitech users in case they might be interested, over in Windows there is a utility you can use to set your peripherals to what you want and then exit - instead of having the hated CPU hog G-Hub user monitoring software running all the time in the background. (basically gamers were demanding this or they were going to leave logitech prods, so may mostly support gaming hardware...) It's called onboard memory manager, is quite small and only runs while you set things on your Logitech device then you exit...the settings then stay stuck on your device after you exit from the Logitech exe. Windows only, but maybe the setting would stay stuck going to another OS.

You have to go back a bit, but they did make one - back in the days just before the aluminum structure with mini thickness keys (so full depth white keys in a clear plastic tray with a white subtray enclosing the structure and batts). I have one down in the basement actually and never used it (it came with a Mac at one point).

Never wanted to make the leap from wired peripherals to one that have batts that eventually loose their capacity and ware out - from a philosophical standpoint....although I do appreciate lots of people have uses for them or just like the wireless ones in general. But that is why its never been used.

I have one of their full depth keyboards but it's wired. I don't remember a wireless one. Kewl.

Me too. My first "computer". A genuine TeleType. Did you make Snoopy calendars?
No, but someone went through the whole Star Trek game, printed out where all of the Star bases and Klingons were and then committed genocide. :) ASCII art was fun.

I still play an ASCII version of ST on my phone. Quiet fun.
