I run 32” 4k. It’s not perfect but I don’t think I could go back to 27”

Waiting for a reasonably priced 32” 5k with a decent panel to appear

Would be an instant buy for me
Exactly what I'm doing))) I'm hoping Apple will come out with one, I really would prefer not to have to buy the XDR)))

Ive always found it difficult to find a great all-round monitor, that also helps saves on desktop clutter. Good speakers, smart TV function, good display, multiple connectivity… in a compact package thats perfect for a small room or bedroom.

The samsung range this monitor belongs to comes very close to ticking so many of those boxes…

That's fair. I did, and I spent about a week hopelessly trying to calibrate it, but it's really not in the same class as Apple displays AT ALL. I'm sure it's a fine device for a college student, presuming they aren't studying anything design-related. 😀

I bought it last week. In general, I wouldn't say garbage, but the display quality is subpar to many less expensive displays. Not in sharpness, but it looks very washed out. Almost as if having a white film over it.

I'm keeping it for now. What won me over other monitors is that the design is nice, and in that price range, most monitors are ugly.

I think I'll save for an Apple Display, but for now, it works for my needs.

Yes, that was one of the problems — how washed out the picture was.

Speakers are not a strong monitor for this monitor. But then again, you can use Bluetooth speakers no problem.

I'm honestly hoping for not apple so that isn't overpriced with a bunch of features I don't need

I have no need in a monitor for cameras, speakers, usb ports, audio outputs, airplay support or any "smart" features

just a nice 32" 5k ips panel without too wide of bezels, one DisplayPort input and one hdmi input

I don't even care about the stand since it will just go on the mount that's already on my desk

Well, I have no problem with any other brand coming out with it 🙂

That’s weird but I cannot find any review of the 27 inch version. I am wondering if it is the same matrix (in terms of quality) as 32” version (which was quite terrible for any professional usage).

You really need to point out that these are not 5k or equivalent monitors.

They are literally 2012 technology.
