APPLE, just make the Studio Display a smart monitor (Airplay to the display from devices wirelessly and/or build an Apple TV functionality into it). I mean it already has a processor built in!
Exactly what I'm doing))) I'm hoping Apple will come out with one, I really would prefer not to have to buy the XDR)))I run 32” 4k. It’s not perfect but I don’t think I could go back to 27”
Waiting for a reasonably priced 32” 5k with a decent panel to appear
Would be an instant buy for me
what stops you?wow. thats a deal. I would buy that over the smaller 27 inch over priced Apple monitor.
That's fair. I did, and I spent about a week hopelessly trying to calibrate it, but it's really not in the same class as Apple displays AT ALL. I'm sure it's a fine device for a college student, presuming they aren't studying anything design-related.![]()
Yes, that was one of the problems — how washed out the picture was.I bought it last week. In general, I wouldn't say garbage, but the display quality is subpar to many less expensive displays. Not in sharpness, but it looks very washed out. Almost as if having a white film over it.
I'm keeping it for now. What won me over other monitors is that the design is nice, and in that price range, most monitors are ugly.
I think I'll save for an Apple Display, but for now, it works for my needs.
Ive always found it difficult to find a great all-round monitor, that also helps saves on desktop clutter. Good speakers, smart TV function, good display, multiple connectivity… in a compact package thats perfect for a small room or bedroom.
The samsung range this monitor belongs to comes very close to ticking so many of those boxes…

For sure… it’s always a pity when they include speakers but fail to make a good go of it. Most monitors speakers are so bad that you wonder why they bothered…Speakers are not a strong monitor for this monitor. But then again, you can use Bluetooth speakers no problem.

I gave the 32" a shot when it first came out. It's absolute garbage, at least if you're used to quality.
Yes, that also, honestly — I don't think it was intended to be a high quality display. At least I hope not))I read it has to do with the type of display, that it is not IPS, but VA.
Not sure what that means.
Well, I have no problem with any other brand coming out with itI'm honestly hoping for not apple so that isn't overpriced with a bunch of features I don't need
I have no need in a monitor for cameras, speakers, usb ports, audio outputs, airplay support or any "smart" features
just a nice 32" 5k ips panel without too wide of bezels, one DisplayPort input and one hdmi input
I don't even care about the stand since it will just go on the mount that's already on my desk
Than everything adds uplooks like it a va panel so yeah, it's not going to be great
