Not true I bought a iPad Pro this year from amazon and i had the standard year warranty and was able to still purchase Apple care
In Europe BY LAW you get 5 years warranty from the original manufacturer if you buy from them directly (in this case at an original Apple store or with apple.com ). With an "Authorised Reseller" you do not.

What are you talking about? You can buy it from any retailer and you still get the 1 year limited warranty.
