It's actually quite nice to alternate between both iMessage and Whatsapp, keeps either one from getting stale.

When I'm in the UK a green bubble means that a human just cost me 10 cents.

The green bubble cost me 20 cents. If I get included in a green bubble group chat, it gets out hand quickly.

This also. Until two years ago I would get charged for every single green bubble. I was locked into a grandfathered "unlimited" plan that didn't have texting and I didn't want to change it.

To avoid seeing if the person I send a text to is blue or green, I just put my phone in grayscale mode.
