Seriously a month ago they OK me for an hardware upgrade to an iPhone, provided I re-sign my contract, ok cool. So for a month I'm calling Best Buy (I had a gift card sitting around for $100) and today they FINALLY have some in stock. I go down to pick it up and oh hey Rogers has "Changed their policy" and now I don't qualify until March 2010. . . thanks a lot you sods. . .
 
I didn't know that Rogers receives their complants on the MacRumors iPhone forum. You learn something new everyday.

How bout the thousands of MMS threads? 🙄

Edit: To the OP... call Rogers and order it through customer service OR relations. They will probably make an exception for you because of the stock shortages since launch.
 
I feel for you OP. But I think it's better if you tell Rogers how you feel rather than us. Here we can't do anything, but with Rogers, you can negotiate.
 
Similar policy changes happened to me on Fido. Twice.

If I wasn't grandfathered into the original unlimited plan I'd be gone.
 
Yes, ring them, a Rogers CS rep may be sympathetic to you when you explain what happened (very calmly and very rationally 😀 !!!!!!!!)
 
how can they change the contract you signed with out telling you. Sounds like they are on grounds for allowing you out of the contract with no fees.
