Debris Under Glass

I'd say next time, don't leave the Apple store without checking the phone out thoroughly. If you've got 5 phones with debris under the glass, that's 4 times that are your fault.

S. Kay , i do have a life. I am a picky on things, especially cause my profession.. So i dont need to get a life.. I have one.. Anyone can be a tool and bash people behind a key board and have an opinion..
 
I've had 2 phones replaced due to dust under the screen and behind the camera lens glass. Even my current one has a couple specs but I've just learned to deal with it. I just found a stuck pixel recently as well but decided it's not worth my time to keep swapping out phones. Just enjoy it. 10 more months and we'll be upgrading again anyway.
 
I would be fine if my phone only had one piece, but when its got alot under the glass its just not acceptible.. I will just go throught the phone before i take it. Ive had a piece actually blocking the front facing camera
 
Mine only has one piece of dust/whatever under the glass, but it shouldn't be there.

I don't know if I should keep it or get it replaced again, the new one might be perfect. I just hate it because there shouldn't be dust under the glass at all.

Ever since the iPhone 4 came out I hate this site. People on this forum are ****ing *******s.

I believe the OP. The iPhone 4 is a shiny flashy piece of ****. Im on my third one already.

My exchanges were done through the mail because I live an hour from the Apple store. That said I decided to buy a new iPhone off contract tonight just to test my luck (and I'd sell my old one) and guess what another couple of dead pixels.

This is unbelievable and I'm one of the biggest Apple guys going. I'm making an appointment to visit the Apple store this weekend for yet another return. The quality control sucks!
 
Ive had 5 and I feel terrible about it and it has been an utter waste of time. If I knew a dust and dead pixel free screen was not possible I would have kept phone #2 which only had 2 dead pixels that were slightly noticeable.

Of course #5 has a large piece of dust that is viewable on any color screen and is hard to ignore. Apparently Apple's factories aren't close to Intels.
 
As you can see im not the only person that is unhappy with the quality control for the iphone. like i said if it was one spec i would be fine with that. I just have the time to take it back.. Im sure there will never be one with out something wrong. I could deal with a dead pixel or one spec just not alot.

It seems as if this problem isn't as widespread as it may seem. Of all the millions of iPhone 4's sold, there have only been a handful of complaints about this. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to be a contained issue. Kinda sucks because we're the ones it happened to.
 
Macnator, I agree sucks that it happened to us.. and when your a picky person it really sucks. im sure there is debris under other proples glass they just may not notice it or be as picky as us
