Ordered a fully maxed out 15" SG MBP on Oct 31st, 12:15 PM EST.
On Sunday, Nov 27th my order changed to Preparing for Shipment.
Today it changed to Shipping to Store (Toronto, ON, Canada).
My date available to pick up changed from Dec 14th to Dec 7th. That's next week!

My MacBook was just delivered 2 days early! I hope everyone else is able to get theirs before Christmas!

Correct. My original delivery windows was Dec 14-28 and I received mine today.
Two reasons, firstly because some people seem to have had their delivery window move forward by a few days/week. Secondly, because we've seen a large increase in walk-in BTO models become available at retail stores which could mean stock will start shipping to the pre-orders.
Also, the delivery window listed isn't 100% correct, the Apple Watch Series 2 that I ordered for my Brothers Christmas present was due between 02nd-09th December but arrived on the 24th November without a change to the delivery estimate.
WOW! That's way earlier! I would be beyond myself if I could get so lucky. I've had no movement, still sitting on STS date of 12/21

So I decided to cancel my order because i wasnt happy about the specs I first got. I placed my order on the 14th of November and I had an expected delivery of 19-28/12.
I then placed a new order today with an expected delivery of 4-8/01/2017. I thought 2 more weeks of waiting was worth it.
The first order was a 4-5 weeks wait. The second one was a 3-4 weeks wait
I placed my order on the phone because I needed the US keyboard layout and it wasnt available on the website. Got a called back from customer service to confirm. The lady was so nice on the phone. Hung up the phone to receive a notification from the App.
My order was moved up to the 21/12 !!!!! Result a 2-3 weeks delivery windo !!! Its like i just changed the specs and kept the same delivery window! So happy

Almost a full week since I ordered my computer (I order on it on November 25th) and my in store pickup date changed from December 30th to December 29th...it's something lol.

Just curious why you had it shipped to store and not to your address. I've seen quite a few people choose that. Is it better to pick it up at the store?
Fair question. I didn't feel comfortable having my expensive device tumbling around in the back of a courier truck or possibly go missing in that late stage of the game. I feel safer getting it at a store. I like the personal touch of shopping in a store generally, as well. So, just my personal preferences.

I did the same thing. With home delivery, there's no guarantee that someone will be here to accept it. I could sign for the courier to leave it, but I'm not comfortable doing that with an item that's this expensive. With store delivery, I can just pick it up after work at my convenience, as well as buy anything else I need.
That's pretty much my reason too. I didn't want to worry about having someone home to sign and no way did I want to sign off on it being left on the doorstep.
I picked up my maxed out SG 15" last night.
Ordered Oct 31st 12:15 EST.
Scheduled for store pick-up on Dec 14th.
Moved to pick-up on Dec 7th.
Was notified yesterday, Dec 6th, that it was available.
Really loving it! Data migration worked perfectly and all is working well.

Still nothing for my order I placed on the 10th Nov for base model 13" TB with 16gb RAM.
Still plenty of time until my 16th-22nd window but still, hurry up apple!
