hey everyone,

I seem to have an issue where my December workout challenge achievement hasn’t appeared? All I see is the month one!

Has this happened to anyone else?

I don’t have a December challenge either.

I hit my target in October on the last day but the challenge disappeared before I got the badge. I didn’t think I’d hit it in November but got the badge. No challenge this month. All in all, these new challenges aren’t really good working for me!

I’ve been able to get both! My November one was actually wrong! I needed to get 3000 more calories burnt to what I was told!

Got my Dec challenge, easy one this round. Just close the exercise ring 28 times.

I have the same issue. December challenge hasn’t appeared. I also noticed I didn’t get my activity summary in the morning yesterday.
Any ideas how to fix this?

My appeared but it is so ridiculous  that it might as well dissappear. :D Anyone want mine?o_O

Does anyone have 2 challenges for the month? I have one to achieve my move goal every day and another one to “Go 147.2 miles this month”. First one, no problem.

Second one, yesterday I was thinking no way, but today I’m thinking maybe. At one point yesterday, the daily summary screen showed I had gone about 3.1 miles, but the achievement page said I had only gone 1,027 yards, or something like that, so I was wondering how it measures that. I just checked it again, and it now says I’ve gone 4.9 miles total, which is the sum of my 3.24 miles registered from yesterday and 1.6) so far today.

To earn the medal, I pretty much have to average 5 miles a day, which I figured was highly unlikely given that it’s wintertime and I just don’t get outside much for exercise. But now if I’m gonna tack up 3 miles or so daily just walking around at home and work, it might be worth a 30-40 minute walk each night to achieve the goal.

They're pretty buggy. Last month mine was bugged with an incorrect calculation for average Calories (which should be showing in kJ for me, but doesn't) and this month it is as well. It says I have to burn about 11000 Calories in a month to achieve it, and that I've already burnt about 10500 Calories in 2 days, which is definitely incorrect! lol.

They want me to average 102 exercise minutes a day in December, god help me this month, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to have an off day.

What the hell? My December challenge is 36 workouts of 15 minutes or more!! Apple wants me doing two-a-days!

Do your training and just add the cardio to that workout, 2 separate workouts, if you workout 4-5 days a week, 8-10 workouts in one week, boom ya got it!

Evidently I've been too lax for too long. My December challenge only requires me to do a single workout.

Mine was to exercise 26 times, and on 3 December it is showing me as having done this 22 times already! Now, as a Triathlete I do train more than most people but I know I haven't done that in just three days... The calcs in these challenges are way off!

On mine it looks like it's counting stuff that was done last month. Did you happen to do 22 workouts last month? Perhaps it's looking at the wrong month when calculating what's been done so far.

For a time at the start of November mine counted my October calories (the ones it should have awarded me a badge for but didn’t; I’m still a bit cross!) but that sorted itself out after a few days.

Still no December challenge for me. I’m seriously unimpressed.

I’d love to have this one. I do a morning workout of about 15 min before I start my day and a 20min walk 8:40min/km) during my lunch break.

Apple should add some brain to the AI that comes up with the new achievements. There is no upper boundary. If you get the award it will demand you to up it next time by 10% again and again.

Agree - this will also increase my Move/calories count and exercise minutes - so on a hiding to nothing. I know its less than 2 miles extra a day - but weather conditions this time of year will make this challenge very difficult.

Hey Nell, any sign of it?

No watch notification for it, or even appearing on the phone app, where abouts are you from? I’m UK and everyone I know with a watch doesn’t have the challenge either!

Both me and my girlfriend live in the UK and have Apple Watches. The same thing has happened. No December Challenges for either of us. Only the Perfect Month appears. I did not complete my November Challenge, but my girlfriend completed hers, so I am guessing it is a random bug.

Still no sign of it on phone or watch. I’m in the UK too. I wonder whether that’s it!
